  1. x2 on that. OP not that much more will be added, probably under one cube. And maybe an extra battery wouldn't need an alt though.
  2. You can get new speakers if you want but it is possible with what you have. I'm thinking now that a 4 channel might actually be a better choice. And a low pass crossover for the 6.5s as built in low passes only start at around 250ish and you would want one at like 1-1.5khz and the tweeters starting at like 2khz. Yep, they would, but I don't think they will make it any easier.
  3. You haven't got the amp yet eh? might as well go for the 1.5k and give then 750 each. The subs displacement is probably only like 0.2-0.25 each. 8 cubes after displacement. so the port gets added on.
  4. Um what are they rated for? 750 each right? I'm pretty sure they would be better off a 1500 if they are rated for 750. Yep. Depends on thesubs really. You probably only need 7 cubes for lvl3s but I'd do 8 personally. After displacement of ofcourse.
  5. Plenty for 2 15"s ported. cool. 2 lvl 3 15"s
  6. What the hell? Yes it would. Woofer R on channel 1 (right 1) woofer 2 one channel 2 (left 1) tweeter R on channel 3 (right 2) tweeter L on channel 4 (left 2). I'm pretty sure you will find that that is stereo. The two front and two rear channels will have separate gains, filters etc on almost all 4 channel amps. But as I said, a 2 channel with decent crossovers would be better IMO.
  7. He said the speakers are. Not the tweeters. I'm sure they wouldn't be 100RMS, thats quite a bit for a pioneer tweeter. Infact, a decent 4 channel would be easiest. you just run the tweeters of 2 channels with the active in bult crossover on 1.5khz or so and the 6.5s on full range. Wait, actually that might not sound too good. I still vote for a 2 channel amp and a decent crossover.
  8. Don't need measurements as of yet. How many cubes can you get back there though?
  9. I'm pretty sure 200RMS would blow any tweeters he hooked up. Plus this way you need more crossovers. Get a decent 2 way crossover and it will do everything for you.
  10. Um, any good quality one. I wouldn't know what brands sell separate crossovers, just how they work, and that if they will have impedance matching. have a look around on ebay or something and come back here with what you found I guess
  11. How much space do you have and where is it going? If it is going in a trunk then the single 15" might be a better idea, unless you have a big enough trunk.
  12. I'm sure the if you used a crossover it would have impedance matching so you wouldn't have to worry.
  13. I paid 300NZD but you can get them for 200. Don't pay more that 300 but shop around for less. 3000 RMS from an Atomic 3000.1D. Depends, mine cooks real fast on some songs and almost not at all on others. Pretty much lees than 1 song continuous on 3KW though.

  14. That^ or similar. Thats a handheld one. If it's your car it shouldn't matter.
  15. O-scope the gains, or if you know your amp can do rated power then a DMM would work too. And yep, bass at 0 on HU
  16. Have fun dieing then. OP Use plexi or acrylic. And even if you were hitting 150 in the cabin it would be different in the box. You might be doing like 10 or 15db more in the box.
  17. OP, Might as well try them unless someone on here knows that they are rubbish.
  18. It's not that it doesn't work. It's more that you need like 4 layers for it to do as well as a quality deadening product. And if you need to buy that much you might as well get the proper stuff.
  19. I've done that before, shop around for some different cool subs, some blown some not and mix and match the best from each. I'd keep the same motor and coil together though unless you want to get really tricky.
  20. I thought it was the same pretty much as the lowes roofing stuff. I may be wrong though. Not to thread jack but I sent you a PM about the box. Did you get it?
  21. I'm pretty sure it takes like 4 layers to be as good as second skin. You'd be better off with the real stuff.
  22. Nice job! I kinda want one now! You gonna have some vids of this in action?
