01 gmc sierra extended cab.. max demensions are length=59" front height 10.25" rear height 7.5" depth 14.25 inches. id like to run (4) sundown SA 8"s PORTED.... SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT SO I CAN GET STARTED ON THE ENCLOSURE IF SOMEONE WANTED TO DESIGN ME A BOX ID BE WILL TO PAY FOR THEIR TIME DESIGNING...

so any one wana help with a ported enclosure for 2-4 SA 8"s?

yeah wish pre order was availble now, id sign of for 8 of em

ok so i took sum ruff measurements id say about 90% accurate i can compensate for the rest... rear height 8" front hight 10.75 " depth 14.5" width 59" center hump width 16" hump height 3.75"

im gonna go smoke a cig rite quick and see if i can get sum measurements.. if not i will def. post my MAX demensions first thing in the morning. I got 4 sheets of .75 mdf a fresh coat of wax on my table saw im ready to get to cutting

lol well thats the thing i havent been able to get out there and measure it my self ( i know i know) but, goin off "pre-build" sealed enclosures.. the largest ive found was a down firing, 2 chamber (2 10"s r 12") with 1.6cubes per chamber... the demensions off of that say to be.. 52x16.75x10.75. but i know the front side of the seat is obviously tall than the back side so the top side of enclosure slopes donward...

thats really nice! but a lil more in depth that im willing to do with this truck

yeah i guess that could POSSIBLY be a option... im really jsut hoping that im able to do 4 8"s under the rear seat in a ported enclosure

or like 4 lv 2 8"s

yeah i was leaning most towards the 4 SA 8"s.. i guess at the end of the day to me it does matter what direction they fire or port location as long as the shit slumps! not really looking todo anything "crazy" as far as console enclosures and walls or anything like that. the vechile needs to be functionable

i think fromwhat i understand anyways is that what i want is a downfiring enclosure. id really like to have a ported enclosure, i see alot of sealed online for sale but..... never been a fan of sealed enclosures..

Im having a hard time deciding what woofers to run for this build. Its a a daily drivin 01 gmc sierra extended cab. Im wanting to keep my rear seat in place and fully functionable , for car seat etc... So im hoping some one has done a enclosure for a truck like this and or is willing to help out. Im thinking either (4) Sundown SA 8"s or maybe 1 dc xl 10" or 12" ... or? open to suggestions opinions... basically want the MOST bang for my buck, and would like to get it as LOW as possible.. I ALSO PLAN TO GET IN NEXT FEW MONTHS A UPGRADE TO MY SYSTEM, INSTAED OF JUST 1 AUDIOQUE 1200D AND 1 15 FI BL FULLY LOADED TO 2 OF EACH SO I NEED TO TAKE THAT INTO CONSDERATION AS WELL

I DONT HAVE A PRBLEM WITH LIGHTS DIMMING, JSUT WHEN I KNOCKIN MY VOLTS TO MY AMP GET LOW SO I NEED TO GET AND KEEP THEM UP IN THE PREVIOUSLY STATED RANGE. LOOKS LIKE HO ALT IS FIRST PLACE TO START ALONG WITH THE MLA. WOULD PUTTING A BIGGER BATTERY HELP AT ALL?

was wondering if a single 15"bl fully loaded could handle (2) audioque 1200d's one on each coil? its a d2 also considering getting second BL and using 2 audioque 1200d's strapped 3700x1 @2OHMS...????

yeah i plan to get a new alt. im tryin to achieve a consistant 14.8v t0 15.8v at fast or slow idle..

how can i get my volts from 14.2 up like at 14.8-16 ???
