  1. I found the best and cheapest way to cut 4g and up.

One day I was out back seting up the big 3, and I relized that I left my wire cutters at a friends house. I already had everything planed out, and didn't want to go and get'em. So I grabbed a steak knife that I use to open dog food bags, put the wire in a tabel vice pulled then cut. It only took a few strokes to cut it. My wire cutter cant really get around the wire, and I have to chew at it. That leaves the ends all jacked up, and allmost impossibel to put in a wire lug. But with the streak knife the cut was clean, and easy to clean up. Oh yeah it was 2/0.

If your planning on buying wire cutters, try this first. It should save alot of money.

  2. thickness depends on the size of the mat you are using and how much resin you apply...and i can't see that brass mesh hurting anything...i would assume it would add some structural integrity to things.

I was acutally was going to form the box with the mesh in glass from there. I think the brass would give me peace of mind. Actually I have an ald box I was going to take the top off of then form the brass mesh to the inside.

  3. I was thinking the same thing as everyone else. Then you started to post those pics, "Like this, or like this, or like this". I was just waiting for you to just say " J/K That's all my ish." I've seen you post at a diff forum, and reconized the name.

Are you really considering the 4 18" FI? If you are I'll say a prayer for the car your putting them in.

Don't you have a vid floating around with some of your work. If you do can you hook us up with a link?
