i was looking at dc level 2's. they have a 5 1/2 inch mounting depth. seems good for the air space. but i was also looking into a few 8's like sundown sa's dd 1508's and aa assassin 8's. idk which tho

yeah but once you do it youll never be able to sell your car again pretty much. and its a ton of work. i would like to get subs that fit in the cab. but later ill either have to get a truck or i might have to just do a blow through if thats my last option

i was thinking about getting new seats cuz the seats that are in it are a freaking pain.

my friend has a L7. loud but not a lot of sq. i prefer low bass but when a sub struggles with highs, like on a song from tech n9ne called gansta shap. my subs would destroy the low and fail at the highs. but it was cuz of the box. i seen a lot of good things about the classics tho.

how are those treating you. i haven't heard a lot of good things from ss.

i looked ALOT into slims. i almost bought a jl tw5 but i dont think they are what they are cracked out to be. and the pioneers i hear get distorted very easy. i bet the jl would sound good but i dont think it would thump enough for me

how are the classics treating you?

i love lows but its annoying when a sub cant hit highs and such. i know it has a a lot to due with the box. but im being picky i just wanna know what i really want. i dont wanna be stuck with something i dont want. the reason why im doubting them is because i have never heard them.

5 15/16s i think it is. and 24 - 100 hz. cant hit highs

and i dont think i even have a cubic foot. i went out to measure it. it has closer to .6 to .8 maybe

ha i was thinking about that but if you do it you wont be able to sell it like ever again. if i had a junkier truck i would. and are the kicker solo classics any good? isn't there range is junk? 24-100hz? but i guess you dont play subs much over 80hz anyway. if i went back to kicker wouldnt the cvx be better?

blew one of the cvr's. they had a good run tho. they fit and they hit. but im not too sad cuz now i get to buy new ones. but the thing is i don't know which i want. if i had a car this would be so much easier cuz then i could fit almost anything in it. but the problem is that i have a 2004 ford ranger. single cab. i made a box that fits behind the seats for 2 10's. so i kinda want to get new 10's. its a small box. each sub has maybe a foot or a little more cubic feet maybe a foot and a half. they have i think a 5 1/2 inch mounting depth. so i want something very close to that. so this is what i need. 10's that have or less then 5 and 1/2 inch mounting depth that can be used in a small box and still really preform. something else what i was thinking is getting 8's. i have seen some crazy things with 8's. i was looking at those sundown sa 8's. id make a new box but i really don't want to. so i want a lot of bass in a little place. i need some help lol
