its ghetto around my area and i like having the factory hu.. i alrady have my sq car and thats the benz lol i only have a hu in there because i know no one around here would even think about breaking into a mercades lol but my car has a alarm but still. and i dont really care to much about sq.. i want want to be able to hear the words lol they are getting muffled out right now haha

alright i have a stock head unit (02 sebring factory lol) and i wired in the adapter thing for 2 sub output rca's and its fine but i want to get a 4 channel in the future.. how would i go about doing this? is there another harness/adapter they sell with 4 rca outputs for a 4 channel? or do i have to have a aftermarket hu to get a 4 channel? i like the factory look.. (less chance of getting jacked..) and only want to get a after market one if i really have too..

amp has infasonic filter. i have it set to on. im guessing thats somewhat a subsonic??

depends what kind it is. some control bass boost and some control gain.. mine controls boost

yeah for sure turing bass boost off. and amp is gay.. no subsonic.. .. i try to not play low low songs. and if i have to i just turn it down on low parts

not sure. prob 30 at the lowest.. subs dont get much excursion. and yep they are in phase. center slot port too. and kranny alright. i hope that solves it. but keeping bass knob there because i like how it looks at night lol

okay so i have 2 12 lvl 3 dc's with a t1000.1bd wired at 1ohm.. first i had them in a box with 2 4" aeros really loud but it was leaking air and i didnt like how the aeros sounded imo. so i got a slot ported box tuned to 35hz and i set the gain with the bass boost all the way up with my dmm to 31.6v on a 50hz test tone at 26/35 on my alpine hu of course i never had the bass knob all the way up while driving but i noticed it only got really loud with it up all the way.. and i figured well since i set it with the dmm with it up it only saw 1000rms at 1 ohm.. so i just reset it to 1000rms with bass knob at half which is what i usually had it at and i bumped for a song and i pop the trunk and smell coil.. and subs were hot.. how could this have happened? AND i was bumping decaf which i know he doesnt clip his songs.. soo what could be it??

not upgrading it in this car. this is temp setup until i get my hatchback. all serious elc upgrades will go into that car
