Any help on if im tapped into the correct wires do I need to disconnect my ground wires onnthe loc

I hooked it up ran remote to ign n we played with the ground n noticed that's where the problem laid. Im at work do I haven't regrounded it yet but besides that I went on this site n it said the speaker wires were tab n gray for left n dark green nnlight green for right. Spliced the loc with these wires. Now I have no sound

Well found problem, bad ground n now no sound

Ok amp works fine so it's either my remote cable or ground.also I have the loc just wired with my ground on back of hu, should I wire it in with my speakers if so which ones ? And where's the best place to ground the amp in the back of a tahoe

What color wire should I splice the remote to or should I runnit to the ign fuse in fuse box

Amp the rf t1500 didn't see any fuses on it

I have jus factory hu so what would I splice the remote wire with

Going off factory cd player. Have everything hooked up correctly or so I believe. Well ran remote wire to the fuse box with the fuse for the audio system/ onstar and the amp powered on. but when I hopped out the truck to go to the back of truck I tripped over remote wire n it snapped n I blew the fuse .well I replaced the burnt fuse n remote wire and amp powered on once again, but this time as I was hiding the remote wire the amp cut off and I haven't been able to get it to power on since. The internals of amp look fine so I know it's not blown. So what could my problem be ?

What would be the diff in a reg se recone vs a xxx recone? What exactly would I ne gaining. Also if anybody knows where I can find two more older model se 12s let me kno I would like to have 4

So I finally got around to hooking up the re se's this past Sunday. Didn't switch them from the box they were in or anything, just wanted to see how they sounded. Well get em hooked up turn stereo on, they sounding pretty good then soon bass line kicked in they just stop so I turn bass all the way down n the come back on for a few seconds then quit again. It kept it up for a few min . Then I cut off and go see what's up. I get em unscrewed n out the box n notice the voice coils I believe have been snapped apart on both subs and im thi king I know I jus didn't do that, that fast. But upon further inspection I noticed that they had been sautered(sp?) back together before and it looked cheapely dne. So I took some old speaker wire n rigged them to get them to work and it did for awhile. Now my question is this proble fixable and if so how much. Im in okc and dnt where to get it fixed if I can. Also would post pics but on this damn iPhone so if someone wants to post pics jus pm for number n I txt pics

Well lookin to add some subs to my grocery getter.Was in the pawn shop the other day n ran across 2 re se 12's for a steal. Dnt know if they were the newer models or not( think they were).my question is would 2 of these be loud enough in a 02 tahoe or should I buy 2 more? N what kinda power can I throw at them rms wise for daily usage?
