  1. You diddnt disconnect the battery when you were updating the wire? I had a bad expierance with not disconnecting the wire and changing cable. When i was in high school in auto shop, i was working on my nova and changing a couple of things. Time had ran out and i had to go to my main school ( auto shop was 3hours long and seperate from regular school). All i wanted to do real quick was change the starter cable. So i put the car in the air and put a wrench on the nut and loosed it. It had grounded to the frame, sparked badly, wrench dropped on my hand and burned it bad, and then i fell backwards to get out the way ( no saftey glasses) and hit my head on the rack. My teacher was pissed. Now that i work on cars for a living, i dont take any chances. anytime i work on beat, i disconnect the battery.

  2. Doing the rear drop on these is a piece of cake. Doing the front is a little harder imo. It all depends on the offset of your wheels. You notice that steve is riding low and is sitting on 6's. Hes probly around a 4/6 drop with the weight of the system before he bags it. If you want it level, you have to get a 2" difference from front to back. These have a stock 2" rake. So a belltech 2/4 drop would be ok, just run some shock extenders so you can still have some travel. Ive seen a lot of people run Mcgaughys and love it. My djm kit rides kinda harsh, but you its the price you pay to ride low.

  3. How bout a adjustable panhard bar? Im sure this is what is causing the wheel to seem to be a little further out on the pass side compared to the driver side. I remember a member on a different forum talking about this when he was bagging his yukon. He just did a delete of the panhard bar, but he was also trying to lay it out. Here is a link

  4. Hey, im Matt from San Leandro,CA, which is just south of Oakland. Ive been coming on here for a while as a guest, and now decided to join. Seems pretty cool over here, lots of good info. Im 27 years old and just last year got my first system ever. I have a 2006 Yukon that i bought brand new. It has a djm 3/5 drop, Boss 330 22's on some nitto nt420's, and some LED tails. As far as my system goes, I have a pioneer avh-4100 HU, Rockford Power 1000 5 channel, 15" kicker L7, monster rca's, orion cobalt comps and coaxials ( soon to be upgraded hopefully), and KNU power wire. Just like to introduce myself. And i found out bout this site from Meades vis on youtube.
