  1. sorry to hear about your friend......damn, that is one of my biggest fears. Laying under the Hoopty with it suspended and only my feet showing, sometimes not even my feet, is very scary. I went and got a second jack and some GOOD stands because it was gettin to sketchy. The hoopty wieghs so damn much it crushes the bricks in my back yard when i lift it so that should give you an idea.

i got the Aluminum 3 ton from craftsmen last week and i have a steel craftsmen 3 ton already.........when i use my jackstands i ALWAYS leave the jack (or two) still in its place to help divide up the load....

that bitch cost me $270 but its worth it. I want another one........

steve the more you use the better. idk what half the people on here would do if you past away. if you need me ill come hold the eescalade up lol

  2. fosho :) when using good wood glue it will not come apart when dried/cured because it forms a chemical bond now. shit i have tried ripping apart some of my boxes and when it does come apart it doesnt come apart where the glue joint is  shit is tough

x2 .. i ripped apart a box i made for my backseats and when it finally did break all the joints were together. the mdf around them was broken to shit.

  3. stupidest shit ever. i went in for my surgery and when i woke up my grandmother tells me they backed out and didnt do it. they saw that my "blockage" isnt blockage, the tubes coming from my kidneys are twisted and kinked so they didnt do anything. i have to schedule another surgery in 6 weeks to get rid of this then.

so i went in with just kidney pain .. i left with worse kidney pain, pissing blood and it hurts worse then anything in my life to piss.

they gave me toast when i was in the recovery room still laying on the bed, let me tell you, after over 16 hours of no food or drink, buttered toast and water looked like prime rib and dr. pepper(since i cant drink alcohol).buttered toast never tasted so good.

  4. hrmmm nooooope ... but comon , it cant be that difficult?

it is alot harder then it looks. if all those panels are removable it would be as hard. but getting material of any kind around all those curves with no big wrinkles or tears would be pretty difficult for someone who has never done it before. grab a price of dash from a scrapyard or if you have one laying around and try wrapping it in fabric to get an idea what its like. you have to remember not all fabrics stretch both, one, or any ways .
