steve I would look into test driving the new V6 ca and see what kind of deal they can get you on that. If it helps tell them you have a friend that works for GM that will give you a discount.

I would run the ports at the top firing into the cab, ala hoopty ports

They need a lot of input current not voltage and the signal voltage can cause you problems in the input section if there is distortion in the signal path

Interesting combination of parts. It looks impressive and I think that a back mount plate on a front mount double baffle would work out well, but I wonder how the airflow around the motor would work out in terms of increased pressure behind the cone.

i bought it from auddiosavings. i emailed them and told them that the amp doesn't work now. but didn't tell what exactly happen, do you think they will replace it?
I don't think they can give a factory warranty and they don't have them listed on the site anymore so it might be sent somewhere for repair.

That system was supposed to go in for a single show then get taken back out
BUT......
It actually did OK, so it stayed in for about 6 months.
We put it all together in around 5 hours start to finish and after 6 months things like the temp beauty panels broke apart
SO I decided it was time to change.
Now I have some decisions to make.
First what amps and subs to use.
I have a few amps hanging around gathering dust that I might have to pull out and see how they fit in the car.

This is going to be a slow rebuild as I have very little time to work on it.
