There's nothing wrong with wiring a pair of 4 ohm speakers to 2 ohms, but in this case it simply isn't necessary.

Shipping to Austrailia would be a pain in the ass. The conversion rate comes into play as well. For example, a bone stock 15" Fi Bl is $294 american dollars. That's $331.25 aus dollars and that's before international shipping comes into play.
