thanks guys.. well both the guy with fi and dc are telling me dc .. Is that just because of the power i have ? I know its not much ( especially in smd ) but y no ssd's or bl?? just not enough power?

I ve put out a few threads now, but havent got alot of response.. Ive had a memphis mc1000d for about 2 yrs now never even taken out of the box and decided to throw it in my car.. Looking for a nice daily driver that obviously will give me alot of output.. My last system i had in this car ( 96 grand am ) was a 12w7 and jl 1000/1 that did a 143-144 off tones and music.. Nothing really changed ... I know this next setup wont be the quality sound ( im assuming ) as what i had but this is what im thinking... 2 10 or 12 dc lvl 3's 2 10 or 12 fi ssd's or 1 15 lvl 4 1 fi bl 15 Anything at this point is going to be a big help to me .. I want to get these ordered this week and in asap.. So like i said desent sq but also good output

Beats the hell out of the car but its worth it ... Back to topic any ideas or ideas on a good tire ?? Or are any of the 3 i chose descent?

There going to be going on my 96 grand am GT and is going to be used for a delivery car /.. So basically im trying to get the best of both worlds.. Being able to get high miles ( avg about 1000 miles a week,) and having a stiff sidewall so when whipping around corners it doesnt feel like there going to fold off the rim.... heres 3 i was looking at .. All less than 100 bux .. Any ideas or suggestions ?? how much are the mags?

thanks guys.. so many options , I do like a few in the link as well as the Mag... Whatever you all think would give me the best overall daily with that amp is probably what ill go with.. i guess im looking for sql.... My 12w7 did a 144 on the dash just befor i sold it so something that sounds good with those kind of numbers.. Or potential to hit maybe mid 40s

no i cant get the price anymore.. So i just want to get a sub or 2 and give them full potential with the amp that i have.. Id think a 15 Q would need more than 1000 rms.. Maybe not tho...

yea i got rid of my w7 and 1000/1 a year or so ago, And i still have this amp, that i was going to sell but its not even been used once.. I bought the pair of 1000ds 2 yrs ago for 500 new from a dealer who wanted to get rid of them.. So its a good amp and id probably enjoy bass again over a few hundred bux

Well i wanna spend around 4-500 for the sub or subs , just looking for a good daily driver , nothing to special with a mix of some good sq and spl.. i have about 4-5 cubes to work with

Well i really am getting the bug again after not having bass for over a year now, and cant figure out what would be the best choice for the amp i have for a good daily sub.. Im not looking for anything special, my last setup was a 12w7 and 1000/1 and i wish i still had it but i dont so now i have to make use of my memphis mc1000d ( 1100x1 @1 ohm ) So any ideas on what i could get the most for my money out of? My choices so far are fi ssd or Q2 10's or 1 12 memphis mojo 10 or 12 mtx 9510's or 1 12 I just want to be able to give the subs at least rated power .. So thats y im trying to decide between a single 10 dual 10 or single 12 .. Any of these combos work with the amp i have ... ?? also kicking around a pair of new 10 L7s... Or maybe a pair of 8's even??? I never thought 2 8s could sound so good till i heard 2 8w7s off a 1000/1 in a newer mustang .. Did a 144.x off the dash and sounded pretty **** good.. This will all be going into a 96 grand am gt

I was gonna buy a ps3 but every good game for ps3 ( at this time ) is on 360.. and 360 does have the add on for 200 bux but its not true hd dvd, due to component cables or something.. I have no doubt ps3 will be a great system but like ps2 the launch games were not to great

Its overpriced in the sense its basically a 360... Its def. not overpriced if u want a bluray... with a gaming system

OK sorry for bringing up this old ass thread but its been awhile since ive been on.. I ended up getting Nero ultra 7 enhanced for christmas and was wondering if i really needed it... i know its late now and i prolly should of just saved it on the computer but... I mean i look at what all this does and i dont know if i need it, or is it just a nice thing to have since it was a gift..

I got a descent job offer out there starting the second week in april, but i need to be out there ( if i decide to move ) before the 1st , due to signing a lease that a buddy of mine is in now.. Im asking friends , forums and anyone that has either been there or lives there or around there.. I live in Duluth Minnesota now and at the moment im laid off for the first time in 8 yrs , just broke up with the girlfriend of 4 yrs and dont really have much positive going for me now other than a few sidejobs ( im a carpenter ) .. So i thought its only a year and if things take a turn for the worse , he said theres ways out of the lease.. What im most worried about is a money situation. I have like 1000 bux in my checking and about 500 in bills every month.. Its not alot cuz i moved home cuz i got laid off after i bought a new computer, tools for work etc and have about 4 grand on the credit card... OK so enough of the emo crap.. How is it, and in my situation would you do it?? it seems like it would be a good change and hopefully a chace to do something new... But i just have a fear of going down there and burying myself even worse than i am up here.. just looking for a lil input on how it is down there.. thanks Matt

I have Itunes and the new media player, but sometimes it will not let me rip actual cd's then burn them, so if anyone has a good program for doin it , it would be a good help matt

Every car is different. we hit an unofficial 147.3 on tl with 1 15in. crystal cmp2 powered by 1200w amp, sub was on the trunk rear firing but 2nd row seat back rest was taken out.. btw, my van is a mitsubishi delica, more or less with a cabin gain of an expedition or a explorer x2 .. You did a 47 w that sub ina trunk..?? off a TL , what fs were you at
