I have tried to stick a few things through the firewall and no luck, it seems like theres metal between the engine and the interior, is the firewall just made out of some plastic that i need to drill thru?

I bought an amp and i need to run the wires from my car battery to my cars interior. Do i need to pull up the carpeting to run the wires? Or do i just make a hole myself?

Ok i know that subs should be broken in for better sound and deeper bass and all of that, but how long should i break them in for, and can i still listen to my music loud on a new sub?

yesterday i was asking around about the same amp and k3n12ock said that he has an AQ2200 powering his HDC3 15, and he only has his bass turned up half way because hes afraid it will smoke if he does any more, im personally just gonna get the AQ1200 but thats because im on a budget.

ok so im planing on installing my own system into my 99 grand prix, i have a box layout and i know which sub/amp im going to buy. I need help on a lot of things with this build like, will i need an alternator? will i need an extra battery? (only poweing 1 15in sub and 1 AQ1200d amp). Also im not too sure how i should set up the sub in my trunk, if u guys need pics plz tell me and i will get them for u. I also need to know what type of wire to buy for the AQ HDC3 15" copper coil series sub, and anything else u think i need to know about this, PLEASE tell me thank you!!

the only thing is, im on an extremely tight budget and can not afford an AQ2200 the AQ1200 is about as much as i will be able to afford, but do u think it will sound good? even if i wont be able to get max power

i was gonna buy the AQ1200d amp, do u think that would sound good with the sub? or should i look into another amp?
