RE Audio comps.
-
Just turn the knob.
-
Sell both 10's and stick 1 12" with the airspace you have it will pound.
-
Set your high pass to about100 and you won't have to worry about then getting damaged by low notes. It's also a good idea to get a stand alone crossover like a kicker or audiocontrol, because their cutoff slope is higher then your radio or amp.

I usaully set the bass boost all the way up, and the gain to where the sound great at max volume, so I can turn down the subs from the bass knob in the car. You know some music is recorded different so it's good to have the extra control in the bass.

Get a sundown 3kwp and rock those type x's. One amp not to pricey. 3k rms is exactly why you need.
-
If you are gonna go with them get at least the 800 series they pound. I replaced 4 jl audio w3 with 2 alpha 800 and rocked the guys car apart.

Watch videos an read all info you can. I learned from watching Steve's vids on you tube. Search "Mazda millenia" on here for build pics. His vids are extensive. And If you are worried practice on something small or a get a panel from the junkyard.

Having people snap their necks to see where it's coming from.

Do your amps have outputs, some amps have this to daisy-chain them together for just this purpose. If not, get some that do or sell both and get one bigger amp.

just purchased 2 pairs of the RE6.5c's for my front stage. And I'm running them with a kicker 300.4 at 2 ohm to the front channels and a set of Beyma power 6x9s on the rear channels and the re's sound clean and clear even at high volume. Unlike other 6.5s they handle midbass great
Looking for some nice mids and highs

I got 2 sets of the RE's for 200 from Audiosavings.com they don't need a lot of power to sound great. And besides 4 mids & tweets are better then 2 for the money.
