Technivally you could but you will lose the ability to fade or balance your music. It's better for you mids to have thee own signal. Cuz if you have an issue later with your sub amp you don't want to have to be rewiring RCA's.

You would see a big difference. Although the hu says 18-23 it's more like probably 10-15. Most hu and amPs do not put out what they say. Unless they are 100% efficient. Its more like 75-80% of stated power. So for what you are looking for getting a 100x2 gives you more useable power and room for upgrading later.

This is how my first build came out Well here is the latest update. Took a few days off, now 'm back at it. I wrapped the box and made some trim panels in a nice two tone scheme.

You can use Velcro, or make it pressure fit around the equipment for a snug fit.

Oh yeah. I would suggest a good crossover with band pass capability, to cut the higher frequency from the 8's.

I did 4 8" vfl's in the rear deck of my boys accord. They got super loud and clear. You could hear it two blocks away. It was on a AB sq945 4ch.
