do 4th orders still hit the lows? why are they tuned high?

how do you ground rca's?

They are ran from opposite sides. Power and rca's are separate.

I set gain right tho I don't want it any lower. Is it the amp?

Ya I just went outside and tried it. Only hu on and volume to 0 I can still hear the light static noise. When turned up to volume 1, still with no music, it gets louder.

So when I have my system on I hear this light white noise in the background. It's not very noticeable when there's music playing but you can hear if its a quiet part of the song or changing tracks. Is this the amp or hu? I have a pioneer hu and aq4x90 edit:ok so im still having this background noise! i got a new mbquart onx4.125 just cuz i wanted to try something new. new knu karma rca's. grounded the preamp outputs. signal and power wires are not touching. sooo... is it a faulty hu? a Pioneer DEH-P7200HD

bro... you are not going to be disappointed. they sound amazing. im loving this sa12. i think sounds better than my previous aq hdc3 12". just build your box to specs and youll jizz in your pants. dont say i didnt warned you lol Am gonna be running a 2kw amp so i dont think they will handle a 1ohm load...i know they do about 600w rms but ive heard they can han handle more...and yes im gonna bould my own box...im gonna do 8cu ft tuned to 35hz... they both can handle 2k as long as you dont clip them and know what you doing lol. right now im giving this sa12 870rms and it laughs at it. this thing is asking for more power! lol I initially was gonna do 4 sa8's but i have a yukon and it wouldnt look right...also __d_a_v_i_d__ was the first one to suggest them to me...he still owes me a demo of his impala build youll get low with the sa15s man. where you at?

so i currently have a sa12 on a aq1200 @ 2ohms and i love it. my box, on paper, is about 1.9 tuned to 32hz and this thing can get pretty low for a 12". my question is what sub do you guys recommend for this box and amp wired at 1ohm?? im looking at the future right now lol

are those 3 separate chambers? i say go single chamber and 1-2 ports tuned to 35? whats the current tuning
