so today i met up with drew aka CortezDTV. he bought that lvl4 motor off me and gave me a demo of his two lvl5's on a 5k. getting a second 5k to beast it up. but dam is that shit loud! off half power. heres a lil vid i got for yall.

i don't understand that? wouldn't the amp see all the subs wired together giving a final ohm load and then the power be split between however many speakers are there?
no not if youre using different ohm coils. some subs would get more/less power than the others depending how you wire them

Well if I get 3 they sure as hellll aren't going in a prefab box. Haha, I'll prolly build a sealed at 6-7.5^ft or a ported at 6^ft.

why not just build a good ported box? id take 2 in a good box over 3 in a prefab anyday.
i agree. try building a custom box to specs and youll be impressed. prefabs are garbage. plus make sure you have the proper space for 3-4 12s. what car is it in?

and im assuming you have it wired at 1ohm. how you built the box? it should be able to get decently loud in the right enclosure. and make sure you have the electrical to support that amp.

Well I already have a pair of D4 07 CVR 12s, brand new. They aren't loud enough for me, so I wanna run like 3 or 4. I don't want to pay too much for the sub or 2.

build one. no prefab box is to specs for the bl's. or pay someone with experience to build you one. its pretty much the best way to go with if you want the most out of your system
