  1. If you decide to do sub facing into the cabin, you need to have the port also firing forward or have it firing through the rear deck, and for my set-up to seal my 15 from the trunk. I first used some cardboard to get the shape of where the front of the box is/the shape of the metal behind the seats to get it as little gap as I can, then take that cardboard and trace it onto a sheet of MDF and use a router to cut out the shape, then carpet it and you got your self a nice looking trim panel, then whatever small gaps are left on the back I use Great Stuff to fill.

    fasho man thanks. how do u think i should position my box? sub up and port back?

  2. means face the sub and port toward the windshield, then 'seal' it off from the trunk so no air/waves can bounch back into the trunk. most people use expanding foam around the box or they build the box to fit.

  3. as u guys mite alrady kno i have an aq hdc3 12". currently waitin for the amp to arrive. too excited. buutt.. ima be puttin the box in my trunk in a 98 olds intrigue. how should i have my sub and port firing? to the back, to the front, or firing up? ill post a pick of the box so u guys can get an idea. recommendations please. my seats fold down so i can have the back open for more spl. so wat u guys think?

  4. i was going to suggest that but i couldnt find specs for 2ohm and i forgot i had an amp ive been trying to sell forever

  5. wait nvm im stupid i forgot my sub is wired at 1ohm and cant do anythin bout it lol super noob. so i guess ill get the aq1200d unless u guys recommend somethin else that does about 1200 @ 1ohm and for daily
