I did, we switched it out to 2, and eventually 4 15" level 5s or 6s are going in here.. havent decided which yet..

i got it workin idk wat it was but it seemed like the amp had to be on for a while like it had to charge up or somethin idk it was weird lol and the sub is a single voice coil 4 ohms and it was hooked to a 2ch bridged amp at 4 ohms. thanks everyone

thats happened to me before and it was the amp... it was broken or something and i got just a squeek of sound out of the subs, but i wouldnt give up on trying...

I've also had the subs not work at all cause my rca outputs were screwed up coming out of the HU

ok so i was hookin up my frends sub. everythin is hooked up right, least im pretty sure it is. when i turned on the amp the sub was barely movin. even turnin up the gain it still wasnt movin that much. wat could it be?? the amp turns on and everythin. idk wat i did wrong ha. at first i thought it was the terminals on the box but i hooked it up straight to the sub and the same problem happened. please help

When you're getting started IMO best to put the vast majority of your cash into a big amplifier. Even cheap subs will take LOADS of power for a burp/quick full tilt smash.
