    Both amps are underrated. But this is my opinion

    Sundown= Only if you have the money. Better quality (you get what you pay for)

    Audioque= If your on a budget. Best bang for buck

    it also depends on your electrical system. Get the Sundown 1500 if you have a good electrical system because it used more amps B)

    I would get the Audioque if your on a budget, and have a weaker electrical system (The 1200d only needs 120 amps)

    But I would get the Sundown If you want more power, have the cash, and have a good electrical system ( The Sundown 1500 needs 160 amps)

    dam that really jus narrows down my choice ha i have a stock alt and bout to do the big three and get a second batt for the sub amp. so sayin that should i go for the aq1200?

    Exact sub im getting! Gonna get a fi bl 15" with an AudioQue 1200D. I'm gettin the Audioq because its cheap and has a crazy inside :P If money is no concern get the sundown 1500d

    haha ayeee we'll be twins :) i can get a refurbished sundown for cheap. but i kno audioques are good too and a new aq will be round the price as a used sundown lol idkkk

    Yea Sundown and AudioQue are your best bets. As far as Headunits id look at Alpine,Kenwood and Eclipse and for Speakers inside i would look at Like Memphis or RE

    well i already got a new hu. im jus tryin to upgrade speakers and subs. my signiture will tell u wat i got rite now ha

    We do need some type of budget. Those subs(assuming two 12's) are "about" $400. That AQ2200 is about 380. You need 0g wiring with the big 3, and a run of pos and neg front to back and a extra battery (not suggesting a certain one) but wiring is going to cost you about $150-200 depending on brand, and about $2-300 for a extra battery which you do NEED to give the amp the power it wants. I think I got everything now. And the AudioPipe 1500 would work fine. What wattage to run is all dependent on the user. Just because a sub is rated at X watts doesn't mean it HAS to have that. It just means the company making the sub has tested it and say it will run off of X watts just fine with no issues. You could run it on 300 watts if you wish you just won't get the full potential out of it. And by running more power to it your not necessarily hurting the sub as long as you do it correctly and don't clip the signal. There's plenty of people here on SMD alone that run a few 1,000watts over what their subs are rated but they know what they are doing with experience "for the most part" with those two subs though and assuming this is one of your first "real" installs?.. Any where between 1200-2000 is a good and safe starting point.

    ya i meant budget on the components (sub, amp, hu, etc.). i kno ill be spendin on wires batts and all that. ima be gettin a 2nd battery for sure. and what u mean by my first install. i already have somethin goin on in my car jus not the best ha. even tho my frends have said it slaps pretty dam hard haha but thats cuz they havent really heard any other systems. so ya im excited for this. first i mite jus get one ssd then later on ill get the second one and build a box. first i gota upgrade the speakers. them kenwoods arent doin justice lol

    say i have 2 subs at 800rms. if i wire them at the rite impedance to one amp that puts out say 900rms.. does that mean both the subs r goin to be doin 900rms? or would i have to add the watts of the 2 subs, which would be 1600, and wire them to an amp that puts out round 1600?? ive been wonderin bout this for a while now lol dont hate for tryin to learn more haha

    so my car is undrivable at this moment lol it freakin over heated. and it had to happen when i was like an hour away from home. i found a dam hole on my top radiator hose. im pretty sure thats what the problem is haha. could it be anythin else? i already bought the correct hose to switch it out but could anythin else gone wrong in the process of the radiator leakin. i dont have time to work on it cuz i have work today in like 30 mins and i was too busy partyin last nite lol. shttttyy

    congrats man. i myself have to wait 4 years now to join the military :( all cuz of a car accident that i was in last year in jan. i had a seizure and was unconscious for a while. meps doesnt accept people wit any kind of head injuries or whateva. they said i had to wait 5 years. i was pissed cuz i really wanted to be apart of the us armed forces. im workin full time now at ace hardware lol. but oh well. sht happens and my mom said its a sign lol maybe i wasnt meant for the military. but who knos maybe id want to join 4 years from now ha. but good luck man and post some pics wit ur troops

    yoo im fernando medina. i recently got into car audio like a year ago. its crazy how i really got into this. i love it. bass head. ive been watchin meades videos for a while now and jus recently joined the forum. im tryin to learn more about systems so one day i can have a truck like meades :) yall are very helpful and thats wat i love bout this site. this will be the first place ill come to for any kinds of questions. meade.. i want a demo so fukin bad haha but doubt thats gona happen huh. meade ur my idol lol. thanks everyone.
