i have the same setup, and the skars dont even get warm off the hifonics..
i think the other guys that run these know a secret
im sure they could take 1k each like a champTrue I have the brz1200 as well and I'm running my vvx15 at 1 ohm and it handles it very well. Just gotta keep an eye on my voltage.

Ya that's not good from just headlights. Try regrounding and see if it helps. Is this with your system off?

just build a new box the port recommended specs. sealed net volume and port net volume are different. cant just add ports to a sealed box.. if you want to do it properly at least

to op, why didnt you make it ported in the first place lol did you glue and caulked the inside? if so then it will be a bitch trying to alter the box and could possibly mess something up. i just say build a new box

And there's really no need to "break them in". The suspension on the vvx's are loose enough on arrival.
