  1. Drill, extractor bit for the farked one. Heat works too. Or of you are a hex, try finding a driver for it, and tap the end of the hex driver while twisting. The vibration should help like an impact wrench.

By tap the end of the hex driver, not sure what you mean. And idk if i can get an impact driver, lol, but I have a drill

  2. lol, I know, sorry.

What kind of head is the bolt?

If it's philips they are usually large, maybe number 3 or 4.

If its a hex bolt, just a good socket and long handle. Maybe use some liquid wrench to break it. There is sometimes glue on the screws

EDIT: YES ITS A HEX BOLT, BUT POINTS DOWN. Also I think they're about stripped at this point lmfao..this sucks

  3. I just thought of something. The Crescendo 3kwp has apparently the same board as the SAZ-3000D. The specs on Crescendo's site say the 3kwp puts out 4030 watts at .5 ohm at 13.8 volts. Wouldnt that blow the Level 4? Do you guys think the XLs would like that power more?

Depends on how you set your gains...if you set the gains so the amp puts out 4kw, then more than likely it'll blow them over time.

  4. You can play 2 different signals to the coils. All you get is the net effect of the signal. So it's pretty inefficient because for example if I sent it 500w of GO UP (this is totally, totally idiots terms here, sorry) and 300w of GO DOWN you would end up with only 200w of GO UP but the sub would still have to deal with 800w of heat.

But it's not going to suddenly explode or tear itself to pieces.

That's the kind of answer I was looking for. Instead of "wow do people actually 'belive' this shit". THANK YOU BOON! :drinks:

  5. its the same shit if you do 1 coil per channel or 1 sub per channel

i gave an example to show how stupid your thinking was

ether way your wrong sub amps dont work like that

Keep thinking that. difference is the coils are wound together and not in 2 separate drivers. One will 'vibrate', if you will, differently from the other one due to different signals. thats like hooking 1 coil up to one song and the other coil up to another song. All I asked was that you educate me on why I was wrong because by no means do I know that this is true for a fact, it just makes common sense.

no need to keep thread jacking when we can just take this to pm

    /done :santa:

  6. so if i have a sub on the right channel and a sub on the left chanel there gonna play differnt shit?????

i think not if that was the case they would cancel each other.. and have many mecanical problems if both subs where in a single chamber box

I said 1 SUB with 1 COIL on EACH channel. not 1 sub on each channel...no shit you can wire a sub per channel, same concept as 1 speaker per channel. but 1 coil per channel is what I protested against. Can I begin questioning your reading capabilities the next time you try to insult me?

  7. you'll just want to upgrade or get better shit once you buy it. So no, not really worth the 200. :good:

I bought my 4 jl w1v2's in a decent box off craigslist for 300. The subs weren't even broken in yet and still to this day haven't seen over 1kw total. Just search around and you can find a better deal from someone who is desperate to sell it quick. :santa:
