dont know if its meant with what i post but i did say ghetto people.. we have ghetto Mexicans ghetto Blacks and even Whites.. what gets you shot is your actions not you color.. seen many races get shot by cops.. people need to stop feeling victimized and saying it because its the color of the skin. sometimes it may be but not always the case? when have you heard people being killed by cops in the Good cities where people act responsible? only ones i heard are the ones who are in an act of a crime.. im Hispanic and i dont feel victimized by the cops or burn down my city because Sgt. Smith killed my neighbor. doing such act is taking a step back. people need to use their heads and act like humans and not like criminals.. people wont take you serious and its only making your race look bad.. again, im not talking race specific just in general.. you think i was involved in the protest Mexicans had a month ago and burning the US flag? no i was not. i didn't want part of it as it only makes us look bad as a community.. i refuse to take steps back and we need to make a change by proving we are civilized as a nation I'm just saying that its a complex topic, and people are gonna feel how they feel. i didn't riot in cincinnati when a kid was shot ,cause his pants was sagging and the officer thought he had a gun when he was holding his pants up,while running away! i thought he shoulda wore pants that fit,and not run!but it wasn't about your post or any other post,its just sad period! I'm black, and i don't hate anyone.i just appreciate good people when i meet them,and most on this forum seem cool.

i just read this whole thread, and all i can say is it brings me down! i don't really know anyone on this forum personally,and i read way more stuff than i post, just to gain audio knowledge. but i must say that reading all these comments i kinda get a feel for who everyone is,and how they think.im not taking sides because i only believe in whats right,and we don't know that right now.this is just plain sad,we are definitely not who we thought we were as a nation,but i already knew that.the best thing a person can do is educate and better themselves,and the rest will follow.

update. so i filed a claim with ups,and they are going to refund the money for the battery.

they were bought through amazon,not a dealer

tried to open up a claim with ups, and they said it wasn't eligible,and to contact shipper. Shipper said the same thing.my brother has worked for ups delivering for about 20 years,and he told me to stay on top off them and something will eventually get resolved.the thing is, if i can epoxy it, and it will be fine,I'm ok with that.just don't want it to end up leaking and be trashed.

got 3 xp 3000 from amazon today all bnib. one of them was dropped,and the top corner opposite the battery terminal is dented,and has about a 1/16 inch gap hole on a 45 degree angle from being dropped.i would post a pic but haven't figured that out yet. anyway i contacted amazon and ups, and they both said its non returnable cause its hazardous . i plan on pursuing this issue,but in the meantime can i fix this with some epoxy? it rested at 12.8,and i haven't hooked it up to a charger to see if it leaks yet.

yes its hooked up to a relay switch that cuts on with the ignition. only down side is the battery light comes on the dash,but I've gotten used to it.

you can also look at the mla module it will trick your pcm into charging higher,and keep you at 14 ish.they quoted my truck for 275.00,i just decided to get the biggest alternator i could get and be done.

singer told me don't bother with 2 alternators ,unless i wanted to run way more power . i got a 6 pin 370xp from him and he said I'm good for 10k . I'm waiting on getting my batteries and cables.its possible you could run into problems with dual setup, belt slippage ect...

I had similar issues with my chevy avalanche 06. Finally broke down and got a alternator from singer that bypasses the PCM control,and I couldn't be happier,I haven't even noticed the voltage dropping below 14 at all. Got a rf 2500 on 3 fi 15sp4. 2xs battery . Before my lights would dim and voltage would drop into 11 sometimes 10.

just bought a dc 9k from him and everything went smooth! soon as i sent payment it was shipped the next day and only took 3 days to arrive. it was also packaged nicely and it was just as described minty! i will be buying plenty more from this guy in the future! communication was awesome too!

im not an expert, but i believe that maybe there is a difference in the way its made to spin. it may spin faster creating more current?also what i have been told buy many manufactures of alts,is you have to look at the output at idle. just like amps, look at rms not max. i have a 275amp alt but it only does 140 at idle.always ask for the idle output before you buy,you may never achieve the 300amps but its possible thats why they advertise it that way.

i actually built a midgate enclosure that holds my sub box in it,to seperate it from the bed.put sound proofing on the inside,and rhino lined the back.this really helped the bass sound better up front,but i made it just big enough to hold two 13w7s,but after hearing about,and looking at the fi woofers i started to want something different.(boooooom!!!)plus i like to stay up on the latest when i can,seems like jl hasnt changed much for a long time,and the fi prices are way better!

hey everyone this is my first post.great site to be apart of. my question is i have 2 jl13w7s only one is hooked up currently in ported box to 1000 x1 jl amp.i really liked this sub when i first got it,and ended up getting a deal on a second one.the problem is after doing a lot of research i have decided i want more spl whith some sq. in order for me to add my other 13w7 i would need to buy another expensive custom box,another expensive amp.about 900.00 dollars,or i could sell all my jl stuff and buy 4 10 btl,ssd fully loaded,and probably still have money to spare.im just not sure if i would be happy with 2 w7 and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on what 4 10btl ssd would sound like compared in ported box,also i have a chevy avalanche and the large cab makes it harder to get more sound pressure,but i got about 7 cubic ft to work whith in the bed.
