What are you going to do with those pods that are overlapping the sub box. Or is it just an illusion and there is depth space for the mids you are sticking in there. What size are those rings you are cutting? -

So I do have the right part number for these subs as being sx15d4's. The guy is asking $350 for the pair. What do you think about that price? The cones are in good condition, and there is no tensil markings. Going to attempt my first serious car audio project with this. Wall in a 02 Dodge quad cab.

A friend of a friend is selling his RE SX15s and I am unable to tell the difference between the newer subs and the older subs ( from what I can gather, are the better ones ). Anyone here with a spectacular eye able to spot exactly which models these are? From what I can tell, they appear to be sx15d4's. Any other input would be helpful!
