Ya should have some testing with the SA done by Friday..

How do they look "nearly" Identical? They have completely different baskets, different surrounds, different cones, different motor structures.

Box should be done Friday, need it to be done by then so i can have some kind of bass for 8hr trip to Austin,TX for the Mac Miller concert... Most likely will place another order for the VVX before i leave and then do some testing when i get back from the trip.

Now i got 2 VVX 8s in today but they are for a local customer he gave the "OK" to open one up for some pics so here we go... Here are some comparison cosmetically between the two. Honestly when people say they are the "same" driver it drives me nuts because they are very different not only cosmetically (obviously) but also they in performance as we will see soon... 1st the look of the VVX very attractive woofers pure SEX! love the triple stack on an 8" very nice love the baskets also... not to big of a fan of the matte black basket would much rather have a glossy black but who sees the baskets anyway unless inverted very study woofers built well like the idea of SKAR removing the "VVX" on the woofers imo they look much better

Alright guys got my SA v1.5 today it was used in great condition though and this is my first look at Sundown sub it built for solid as everyone knows and very beefy thing solid looking 8" for sure great job Jacob solid driver here and excited to do some testing

Well sub will be here Monday (My bday Nov.7th WooHoo) lol but still waiting on design so once i receive i will post pics Also guys just for the record im in way trying to create any controversy this is not a this is louder so it better thread i just thought it would be creative and fun both are very capable drivers with different mind set IMO the Skar is going to most likely prevail in the daily aspect of the test and is most likely what i will be bumping daily but i do think the SA will prevail on the meter...but like i said we will see.
