  1. Haha yeah right.. I'd be 50 years old before I banned all that. I don't even care though, it's not like it's a real site or anything, haha.

I Lol'd when I read your post proclaiming "GTFO, this is my house".

Haha! That thread is now 5 pages back after 11 hours now.. I just find it odd how some threads get like 22 replies, and some don't get any. It's just weird.

  2. So a while back, I made a website forum for Team Deadly Hertz. It never really got going, but today I was checking my bandwidth stats for my hosting account, and noticed TDH had GBs of data used.. I was like "????".. So I went to the site to check it out and to my surprise...:

    http://www.lejdesigns.com/tdh/forum/index.php

The spam bots, Have taken it completely over. To be funny, this is the most popular site I've ever created! .. Haha. I mean hell, this site is more popular than most forums out there.. Check out the stats for today:

I wish I could slap an ad on there and make bank!..

EDIT: And oh, btw, I should state this site only had about 5 posts and 3 members on it before I left it... Now it's:

  3. You seem to have it right. Tangent is opposite over adjacent, or (12/13)/(5/13)

    Is that what you wanted?

    (12 / 13) / (5 / 13) = 2.4 = 12/5

    Perfect!

Wow, I don't know why I made that so much more difficult.. I somehow didn't think to do that... I've gone through 90 of these stupid problems finding angle measures and side lengths...

what school do you go to? i go to USC Upstate in Spartanburg...

Tri county currently, clemson next year hopefully

  4. Well, it started all bent up, rusty, missing bolts... squeeking when pushed... Well...

    28bedjt.jpg

I decided to do a little work.. Did the best I could do to get the metal straight,.. Cleaned up the rust with chemicals, metal filled it down smooth, then hard sanded it smoother.. Dropped that primer on it, wet sanded it, dropped that crispy yellow base coat 3 times, wet sanded that, dropped that second 2 tone royal blue coat 3 times on that, clear coat wet sanded with 1200 grit and polished it. (cleaning with tack cloth and clay bar and all the goods inbetween coats..) Cleaned up tires.. and a few other things.. Then I added that extreme hardware:

    New Grips

    New Braking system

Blue LED Underglow (charged by coil/magnet system.. So when the tires spin, the LED's come on.)

    New foot pad

All new bolts and screws, wd40ed up.

Sorry the pics are so small, I'll try to get some better ones later.

This was just a little project I did with a friend because we were extremely bored over brake... Should we add more? Horn? Motor? Idk?

  5. Well, my intentions with this thread is to construct a list of audio brands based on quality and price. There are many brands out there, and having a good list of brands with labels would hopefully help out with what suits peoples needs. With that said, here are some key pointers I think I should put out.

    1. This is NOT meant to degrade any brands or companies in any way. We all know in you get what you pay for in the audio world.

    2. All of this list will be made from personal experiences, and we all have different opinions. But in some cases, we all can agree certain brands easily out-perform others.

    3. I will Photoshop all of the brands logos into small emblems to put beside each brand for easier identification.

    4. This is SOLELY judged on GENERAL quality, and price. By general, I don't mean comparing two top-of-the-line amps or subs, and saying who is better. But on the other hand, they are "top-of-the-line" for a reason. 'This' is the general comparison we are going for.

    5. Please no arguing in this thread. If you must justify with an individual on why one brand should not be categorized as this or that, please do it in a PM.

    6. If this thread somehow manages to roll out of control, only then the brands be judged on only price.

    7. I have listed some brands to start things off based on what I have heard of them. Every brand is subject to move to a different section later on.

    8. There is no specific quality order. These are ordered alphabetically for each sub-category.

    9. This is only for SUBS and AMPS to begin. Wires, alts, batteries, headunits might be possibly added later if this thread goes smoothly.

    SUBWOOFERS

High Price | Outstanding Quality (These are the top-of-the-line woofers that slam.)

    Ascendant Audio

    DC Audio

    Digital Designs

    Fi Audio

    Sundown Audio

    TC Sounds

    T3 Audio

Medium Price | Average Quality (Best "Bang for the Buck")

    Alpine

    Kicker

    RE Audio

    Obsidian Audio

    SKAR Audio

Cheap Price | Low Quality (These are the bottom line woofers that serve for minimum output.)

    Boss Audio

    Lanzar

    Pyle

    Sony

    AMPLIFIERS

High Price | Outstanding Quality (These are the top-of-the-line amps that push hard.)

    American Bass VFL Series

    DC Audio

    Digital Designs

    Rockford Fosgate

    Sundown Audio

Medium Price | Average Quality (Best "Bang for the Buck")

    Audiopipe

    Audioque

    Crescendo

    DB Drive

    Hifonics

    Maxxsonics

    MB Quart

    SoundStream

Cheap Price | Low Quality (These are the bottom line amps that are generally way overrated.)

    Boss Audio

    Lanzar

    Pyle

    Sony

Now, there are many other brands out there! Please list away and which category you think they belong in. But PLEASE remember the rules. Everyone has different opinions, and this list won't be the "PERFECT" guide to go by. Just a generalization. It is NOT finished yet.

  6. Well ive had this system for 4 months, and it is was going in and out and just quit. I checked all the fuses, theyre all good. I tried getting a small wire and touching the remote and ground terminals on the amp, but nothing happened. No sparks.. not sure what to try now.. the amp doesnt have a led or anything on it... So i was just going by the subwoofer vibrating or not.. also the capacitor wasnt cutting on. Not sure what to try now.. infinity g35 1 pioneer 10 championship series , class d mono block pioneer amp

    (posting for a friend)

  7. ya these guys have it right. use a standard relay. pin 85 to remote wire off radio with a switch between deck and relay (this is low amperage so switch doesnt get burnt up), pin 86 to ground, pin 87 to constant (20 amp fuse may be to much for a few leds), and then pin 30 to all the leds.

I just got the relay, and I had no clue what any of the numbers meant.. No guide or directions on the box. Thanks! This post is very very helpful.

  8. So I've got some LED's installed in my car, and I had them wired to my remote wire (the one that turns on the amps..) So basically, the LED's would come on whenever the radio was turned on.

Well, I've installed some more LED's, and they are all some what dim now. I'm guessing the remote wire doesn't have enough power to power all of them. So, I need a solution.

I was thinking about wiring something straight to a battery and putting in a switch. That would work, but I'd rather have something that only allowed the LED's to be on, if the radio was on, (Or car for that matter.., just so I don't accidentally drain my battery..

    Kind of like this:

Or there might just be a way better way to do this..It's way early in the morning and I might be over-thinking this.. IDK.. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
