That is what i was trying to figure out when i asked what i should do
-
it will control it to what you have set on the amp already.
-
I just wanna say thank you again to everyone who commented back to me on this, but yeah kranny you were right. Turning that all the way off made the smell go away and never come back. Thanks
-
ok thanks so much. never would have figured that out by myself.
-
basically what i can tell you about my amp settings are this. Input sensitivity is about 75% and bass boost would be about 60%
-
ill get a pic. later but HU settings are as followed...bass= -4 mid=0 high=0, sub level=0 not on loud no bass booster
-
vol. is at like 75% and i have 2 batteries that are hooked up with 2 runs of 1/0 gauge. then 4 gauge for my wires to my amps
-
they are 300 watts rms/each, i have 2 on each amp which is 500 watts rms, and power does not drop down below 12 to my knowledge
-
so...what should i do exactly? haha..umm the only thing that was hot was my amps but im not sure if that was from bumping or just the outside temp.
-
So when ever i bump my system for a little while my system produces this smell, my friend said its my magnets. Any other ideas or advice for this?
-
Hey, does anyone know any tricks to getting water out of the carpet of a vehicle? give me some ideas!
-

Ok thanks everyone for the help, i had this same problem in my previous car and i never solved it, I'm preying that this does it cause i am sick of shoving money into a bullshit problem haha. But i was looking more into the yellow top type batteries what you think of that? (only because they have GM adapters on them)
-
the amps are 500watts rms a piece.
-
Right now i am running 2-4501 Mtx amps, 4-t5512-44, 2 on each amp wired down to 1 ohm. stock alt which is 110 Amps. New but stock battery in front, was a smaller yellow top in back but thats shit so it wasnt doing anything. No big 3 yet but getting it done asap. All grounds are clean.

So i had a 2nd battery in the back of my blazer, turns out its shit. so to help my light dimming problem since my system was running off of one battery basically. Could i just buy a bigger battery for the back, or would i still need to get a HO Alternator? let me know thanks
