  1. This is a video that Chris Gregory Put up on his channel after our battle! his 12 Incriminator Audio 187 15's against my 6 Memphis CM Cast Mojo 15's in SPL Hell...

Not gonna tell you who won... you will have to see the vids... goe easy on me guys, he has double the cone area, literally!

MUSIC FOR 1 MINUTE AT IDLE

**** WARNING - SUBS GO UP IN SMOKE (Footage in bottom video) ****

Also Joe, don't feel bad, there wont be a challenge on the 12th because he found out he took out one more sub than he thought... Feel bad for him... I really wanted Frankenstein to go up against Da Van... I guess another day...

  2. That's my kinda competition. Any limitation on tuning? They should make a tuning rule. Two separate classes for 35hz and up and a class for 34hz and below with modified point scale te lower you go. Knowing some people tune at resonant frequency and such would be nice to give those groundpounders more of a chance if tuned hella low.

I agree! We were talking about that and they plan on doing stuff like Best Hair Trick and most flex as well!

  3. not familiar with that competition.....looks fun though.

are you allowed to have a door open or what?

It's a local event that Wall Streets Finest's Chris Gregory created, (the guy with 12 15's)

    It is the following rules

Classes are 1-2 subs, 3-4 subs and 5+ subs...

    Music Average over 1 minute

MUST HAVE realistic mids and highs (basically no burp boxes)

Can be any fusing, any power and unlimited batteries or alts (can rev the engine)

doors shut and at least one window open

MIC at headrest, no 20" rule

Seats must be in normal positions

Basically it is designed to be just like as if you were giving a demo, no preparation as in seat all the way up or doors open.

  4. I believe that the 920BT has 4v as well. I used to have one. More then likely the pico fuse inside the HU blew. Pioneers of that run had a major issue with that. I was lucky with mine. I didn't have that problem. If at that point you have whine, a line driver will only worsen the case.

I agree... I have a 920 BT almost new in the box sitting at my shop because it kept popping the internal fuse and doing what he said... Pioneer fixes it each time because it is under warranty, but after the 4th time doing that, I replaced it with a different model and no problems since...

  5. hey im planning on getting 2 12in bl with 3in d1 coil and hooking them up to a aq2200.d wired to 1ohm. could these handle 1100w daily? or could i even get like a 2500w amp and give these 1250w each. Just wondering how far i can push these safely.

In Frankenstein I am currently running 2 BL 18's and they each have an AQ2200D to them at 1 ohm and they get a lil warm after a couple songs... but I am tuned to 28hz with them and drive them hard... so yes, they would both handle one aq2200 with no problem!

  6. OK guys... Educate... not humiliate... I talked him into coming into here and to ask for help. He is here to learn, not be insulted. As for being in the right secction, we will worry about that after I get settled in and wlll help him move the thread.

EVERYONE on here was n00bs to car audio once in thier lives unless you were born with a subwoofer and amp up your ass... lol!
