  1. what if you wall the subs??

yessir it will be a wall.... just behind the c pillar instead of the B (like most do) so i can keep my back seats.... theres no way i could fit anything more than whats in there without a wall lol, my back seat is pushed foward 1" or more and touching the hatch... which is why i did port up... but anyways yes it will be walled... the design will be similar to hanks 48- 10" his port goes through his back window, mine goes over my back seat into the cargo area :drinks:

you sould do a wall with a square like hole which has 4 subs on each side....that would be awesome

  2. you need 12 15"s to get to 160? >.>

lol let me re phrase my self....

    160 @ 30hz....

and not to mention my truck is a true daily driver it is my only vehicle, 160 @ 30-35hz behind the c pillar and keeping all 5 seats :drinks: thats the bug i have, not an extreme non driveable van or suv.... my truck still has all the leather seats (seating 5) and not extreme mods have been done... nothing more than sound deadner

what if you wall the subs??

  3. As far as I know the 2.0, 2.2 and 2.4 have the same bolt pattern and location alt wise.

Nippon Denso is a HUGE automotive OEM electronics/sensor supplier....

so this alternator is a fair DeAl???

  4. off topic...

would a 160amp stock alternator be enough for 1200wRMS??

    1200watts/ 14.4volts/.7*.6= 77amps

In the equation, .7 is for efficiency and .6 is because you're probably playing music

The car uses about 50 amperes, so 77A+50A= 127A. The alt is 160A, so you should be good. That's just an estimate though.

Keep in mind that the alt is supposed to put out power at ~1700RPMs and up, and puts out less power at idle

....its a 2.0 diesel car(with dual bracket mounting on demand) which puts the max amperage at 1600rpms

    and it idle at 800rpm...

  5. Oh no....Please make your way around the forums and read a lot and learn before you go attempting 2 BTL's of 7k if you don't know about batteries. Also 12v batteries charge at 14v, 14v batteries charge at 16v, 16v batteries charge at 18+ volts.

    soo...

whould do any harm to replace 12V batters for a 14V battery??

Yes because your alternator would not charge them and would slowly kill them.

and if i only add a 2. battery??

would that help to impromve my sistem voltage??
