  1. Ok I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer with about 93,000 miles on it, just today it started making a very loud winding sound (like a loud drill) while driving in overdrive and then it would quite. Like it was engaging and then disengaging or something. When I got home, it had no reverse. I could drive forward but it would get up to 3000 rpms before shifting to 2nd. Anyone have an idea on whats going on here? Ive read that a few people have had this same problem but I didnt find anyone who had an answer. I know most of your are car audio guys but Im very sure there is a few motor heads in this forumn :)
  2. Well I dont really want to take the cover off because it says the warranty will be void if I do. Or is there another way to do that? And yes it was mounted on the box, which Im probably sure it rattled something loose because of that... I just emailed Hifonics warranty support team and Ill see what they say Yeah I had it hooked up the same way I have had for the past year, and I think it probably had enough or something got shaken loose inside.
  3. So just today I put in a new fuse holder with a digital volt meter on it, and a 250 amp fuse. My amp had been acting funny lately just before I put those new fuses and fuse holder in, it blew a few more fuses which were 150 amp but one fuse lasted me for about 10 months (I know they recomment 250 but thats all I had at the time) The amp worked great for a year and after today I think it finally gave up and smoke was rolling out of it as soon as I put on the accesories, but it didnt blow the 250 amp fuse? or even discolor it... but as soon as I unscrewed my amp from my box, I heard something rolling around on the inside and I dont know if that was from it blowing? or that WAS the reason it blew... Let me know what you guys think!

  9. I know the enclosure coating still seems to be in the works, but does anyone know if it may be coming out soon? I have a bare-assed box that is awaiting this greatful stuff I was just wondering if anyone had heard anything, if not my box will have to be patient and Ill just have to keep biting my nails
  10. Haha yup you read correctly.... dude you really need to get the speakers and tweeters on separate amps. Youre probably getting about 5 watts rms on each speaker IF THAT...
