The real irony to this story will be when karma bites you in the ass for selling a broke down car by saying that nothing is wrong with it. Just my .02 cents.

Let me get this straight: You say there was a price jump? I just wanted to make sure you said there was a price jump, because I wasn't clear about whether or not there was a price jump.

Yea, Prices on the new batteries are to go up drastically, but I havent really seen much of anything as of yet.
You can got places like Summit racing http://www.summitracing.com/search/?Ns=Price|Desc&keyword=xs+power&RC=100 and get the D3100 for $350 and the D3400 for $240 which those have been the prices for the last 3ish years or so (but are the old batteries, not the new ones with the new sticker packs).
However the D2700 is $407! and this battery usually is cheaper then the D3100 (so it maybe a newer battery im thinking) but if thats the case, expect the new D3100 to be pushing $450-475 each! which would be ridiculous.

Summit is out of stock of d3100's but can order what ever you want at the old price.

i mighta over done it on this one a little haha.....a Tahoe can have a cluster of alternators and a nice battery bank to sustain something like this.........but a honda civic? its going to be tough. Im not ruling out scaling back and just making it nice, clean, loud, low and functional. Part of me wants to rip the wall out and put 4 matching black momo seats in it and make a super clean system instead of trying to kill the car with massive electrical demand and no supply LOL.
im not giving up yet - just thoughts.

It's only $260 shipped new from sonicelectronix and they have always treated me good with a warranty.
If I can get for a hundred less with a few month warranty from seller and the extra warranty from square trade (have a free coupon) seems like a better deal the only difference would be that I am looking a refurb not bnib. So is this a good deal on a refurb unit?
