  1. Made a deal with the Rev. He was a very honest person and communication was great. I would deal with him again and recommend him to any one that asks. Great guy to deal with. Thanks again and make sure you post some pics of that amp in action. :drinks:

  2. cool shit bro, at least some ones getting their shit from them

Thanks "bre2ts" it didn't come from DC. Came from "Rev Wrath" in a trade. How long have you been waiting for yours?

i ordered my alt over 3 months ago... i got it in like 2 weeks ago but its useless with out its bracket and i dont have a bracket for it. so i got a huge paperweight right now and it seems like DC power reps all have a different story when i talk to them <_<

Damn that suxx bro. Hope you can get it worked out soon. Good luck.

That really suxx!! I would have sent it back and gotten what I paid for. That's just me though.

yea me too, stock 60 amp wont put out enough power... have fun with yours, i hear once you get em, and get em in they work great

Mine took 2 weeks to get to me.. i ordered the 270amp.. and got the 250amp :(. I asked for a bigger discount since i got the 250 and they only gave me the little price difference.

  5. looks good bud its gonna feel great once its installed. I wish I had a DC clamp for mine so I can measure its output. I went to advanced auto to have them test it but he wouldnt put the clamp around the positive even after I asked him to :(

I will see what I can do once mines in. Oh yeah I can't wait to get rid of the pos 220 that's in there now and get this bad boy in and running. This thing is a beast. :drinks:

  6. great video twisted - that was like the down-to-earth version of what a pro would have done. Not saying your not a pro lol - just saying, you just proved the regular Joe can set his gains properly in a matter of minutes. How many years do you think everyone on the BLVD (not experts) have been GUESSING when setting gains? All of them. Period. Name me one person on the street that even busted out an O-scope back in the day. Its very rare. I wanna say its even rare that a stereo shop busts an Oscope out...sorry to say that but its true. The higher end ones might but your average neighborhood "beat shop", probably not.

anyway, cheers on the video bro :drinks:

Chit there is a video on youtube form crutchfield saying the best way to set your gains is buy ear. By turning your volume up 3/4 and then turning your gain up until you "hear" distortion hahahaha.

  7. Yes, i have....with our original prototype (that ate batteries for lunch every 3 minutes.....LITERALLY). I didnt get all of it done because of that. I will re-do it with one of the newer units soon. The new units have a much more efficient power supply in them and it shouldnt be a problem anymore.

I was wondering about this. My o-scope goes through batteries fast as well. Whats the average battery life on the new units? Or have they been tested long enough to get an average?

I am not trying to compare my o-scope to the DD-1. I will be purchasing one for my toolbox for sure. I was just wondering what the battery life is like on the new units?
