    But if you sell you sub and get a another amp ull still need electrical, maybe get an amp and batt if you can.....I love my setup with 1 18 lvl 5 on an sd 8k , I just wish I could slide in a 12 inch port instead of a 10" hole

    All in all I would get another amp and do the single 18 it will still get loud! Espically inside the truck with you, im from a trunk

    Hey Rusty I love my level 5 18s and I would like to use some DC subs in my new home theater room. Have you got anything you can fix me up with? Two 15s or 18s isobaric/ infinite baffle style. About the only thing on the market right now in this category that I see is the Dayton IB385. It would be way cool to have DC in my house Rusty.

    If you have a big house got buy a 18"backet peice of pip pipe and make an 18"basket 9 foot long tline :cheers:

    But on your topic of ib set ups, maybe but when I free air-ed it it was not loud off 500the watts tho, I have trouble beleiving that the ib would perform much different from the free air.... obviously a little, but a box would be so much better imo

    I have had my dc lvl 5 18 in my house on 500the watts ish just for shits and giggles, I found it had to generate enought power in home setups for cheap... so I took a 1500dmaybe I had laying around and a battery with a nice charger and got a pretty good 12v system.... I had a dc 8 laying around so I've been experimenting with t line boxes

    I would try it man with the lower power just build a big box....I really thing you would benefit more from a box.... but if you got some power....

    What will you be powering it with?

    Does that basket go down a little on each side covering the motor ?

    I can't tell from that pic, and excuse my terminology.... but on my magnet it seems like it has 3slabs and you can see a tiny line inbetween themm, the tc looks like it has a boot, but it could just be the picture

    I bought this sub from a guy on caco a long time ago, he said it was an old school rd magnet and sundown cone

    what is this sub?

    a dc lvl 5 coil recone fits it perfect, i clobbered it with a sd 8k a few times so now its a dc recone................ well its been about 3 months of daily abuse it holds up pretty good :peepwall:

    i want to know what year this sub is from? if anyone has one that happens to see this, what they are worth? want to sell me another so i have a pair? i will take just the motor...... rms all the goods for them originally

    And both of thoes companies arnt in the top 1%board microsoft, intell etc thoes are the real moneymakers

    do your research and come back with a real arguement

    and exxon number 1 and it gets subsides from the govt

    Duh they are substidized so the price wont flucuate as much

    i think the rich should pay a higher tax rate especially since alot of them pay less than there secretarys and gardeners thats ridiculous that just bc they make millions or billions of dollars they think that they worked harder for the money or something. i would almost guarantee half of them don't work hard EVER. and then they want to put the burden of the broke economy on poor ppls backs so they can keep buyin super cars that they don't need or even know how to drive like they are ment to be driven or buy there wife huge diamond rings just to show off there money. its ridiculous!!!!

    Most people who flaunt their money arnt rich they have some money
