those 2 v belts have more contact area then a 8 rib serpentine belt..
Have you ever used a dual v belt and a big alternator?
Have you ever had dual alts on a car? Experienced belt slip
I doubt you would have said what you did if you can say yes to both of thoes questions
-
This sure looks smooth as ever
I mean is there some magical thing about belts when you double their size then you can double the amount of stress, I doubt it because of the contact patch really hasn't changed; that's why everything is serpentine
I've been told by mecan you can't run over 220 amps out of a DUAL V belt configuration, I don't see why this would be any different
I would want to see what mechman says and why it's Possiable now or mostly they will be putting stock car pulls sizes to accommodate a serpuntine style belt
How do they prevent belt slip? Or does it just squeal? Or bigger diameter pulls and different internal gear ratio?

Hahahhahaha
So v belts must have come a long way in the last year
Iirc. Me an said they are only good for 220 amps.... So um what did I miss?

Way better than blackGorgeous car I like the white . I have always been a fan of white the only reason they suck is when it comes time to wax

There is no way you are getting 28 cubes in a camry imo.
I'm gonna have to agree I got 25 cubic feet out of a crown vic

My point was there are probably only a handful
And damn his car would give that lexus an ass woopin lol

It's prolly not legal to take flat out like below 9 sec.... Need more roll cage
Like my car right now, I can prolly put down a time that's faster than the car is safe so the track would boot my ass
If that car isn't faster than the 9.5~10 sec I'd be embarrassed there are a lot of 10 sec street cars, there are basically no 8sec street cars which this isn't so I would hope it's very low 9s

What they are getting at tho is over extended periods I play the cca will fall farther and farther behind
It's actually very simple science. Copper can transfer energy "faster/quicker/ more efficiently " than cca and over extended periods it will loose at an exponential rate

My mustang is hot as fuck from the motor I'd buy some
My question is would it spray on? Paint on? Etc? Will it have a thickener like spectrum?
Am I gonna have a hell of a time painting it on my firewall?

His is huge drivers side port looks like 20x20" ish and if I had to guess 5 cubes per 18 shared common space and that classic spl curve near the port to help subs from fighting eachother

Big x's batteries need the 15 amp charge
And if there has been any sulfa facatuon incorrect spelling u know, it helps to break it off the lead (agm material) in the batteries
-
Charging at 15 amps is better....

I couldn't agree with the man
Most of the end customers are "stupid" (I say stupid as in if I go buy a tv do I know how the tv functions and why it displays the image, nope so therefore in am "stupid" and don't really know what goes on if something breaks)
I've done a stereo in a subi, little did I know the car had been gutted of all security modules improperly so when I disconnected the battery it was all over; was it my fault hell no, did I have to spend 12 hours working on dudes car for the same amount of chump change that I initially charged for the stereo yes, lets just say I check wires under the dash before I even start on cars now

I used tin snips to cut the cap it was very tricky to say the least.... Might wanna buy an extra just incase I had some laying around hence why I tried it when I was reconeing the 8s
Txt me if ya need more help
From what I've seen u really want that midbass I front of you, but you can manage with them behind you
500amps at Idle, 900 amps peak power!!!!!

Does no one think the belt will have issues; really?
Do the math
1 hp is 550 lbs lifted up 1 meter (3.2ft) in 1 second
You think something that has 11 times that amount of drag will easily be turned.... Easy answer hell no... But let's get more reasoning
your turning something that is a rubber on metal friction connection which is held by the pressure of your belt tensioner most people with normal sized dual alts have massive belt slip so when you look at the actual surface area in the pulley it won't be enough to stop belt slip....... The surface area of 3 normal sized pullies is a lot more than one oversized pulley, therefore the three should slip much less than one
If people already have trouble with just three slipping how the hell are they going to make one not slip
And whoever said this is a custom application for under 2000 RPMs you are an idiot
Alternators spin at 2-3 times engine rpms just to make current so at idle
most are spinning 4000 to 6000 rpms just to make power AT IDLE
