  1. My numbers aren't right? I clamped over 8800 a amp at 14v rising to 1.3

You must not know what you're doing

    :P

Ya mite be right.. Lol.. Problem is I haven't blown a amp at .35 yet.. Must be the 3 alternators 10runs of 0g a 6 xs1400s.. Or maybe it's the $10 volt meter in my dash hooked up to my rear battery's that I watch like a hawk .. How you been bro? :)

Thats is Ray? thats all you got.

    :lol2:

Ray doesnt know anything.... i only bug him with my questions for shitts and giggles

    Txt me back fugger

  2. Sounds like ur strapped but the rca isnt connected on the slave so you only clamping once amp

I got thoes exact same numbers with my 5ks then I plugged the strapped rca in and bam, 3500rms per amp.....

Make sure they are actually strapped.....

    or try unstrapping them

2 5ks should be more than enough power for 4 lvl 4s, if u were getting upwards of 6k+ after rise ur subs will prolly get warm fast... just to much power for lvl 4s imot

But someone said it before more batteries too!

  3. Have u tried poping them yet?

Is it the same amp the one moving less both times?

Might be an amp issue causing the subs to work against each other, hence the smell..... mine did that at the beginning because one coil was wired wrong, havnt had a problem since and I run 5k to each so im pretty sure power to the sub isn't the issue

Is the phase on one amp off?

are the settings on the amp the same?

do you have a clamp meter can u clam each amp indivually?

Yes, I have a clamp (need some help on using it)

Both amps settings are identical, Phase is off on both amps (they are not strapped)

Yes I did a pop test for each coil. I held the neg wire on the nef of 9v and touched the pos and the cone moved out. I did that for all of them.

if they all poped the proper direction it seems like the amp... try what I sujested above with 1 amp to both subs to see if they will play the same, if they still do react the same ur wiring is off

  4. when 1 coil is out of phase but everything is wired up right, then one sub will move a lot less, still move in same direction sometimes but about 1/4 of the movement of the other....

It really seems like ur wired wrong.....

Are u wired series on the sub (+ to -) then the other + and - (from oppisite sides) going to the amp?

Check the series connection (+ to -) on the sub and made sure its not going + to + or - to -.... seemes stupied but I've done it.....
