Man that sucks ass. Got my full unrestricted license yesturday and i was like "I want my system back in my car" I bought it before the economy hit us hard (wtihout a box) and never really used it. I did once or twice in a buddys box for a car show but that was 8 months ago.

Sorry dude, just trying to make sure i had the right thing in my head. and i drill through the stripping two when i lay the sub down i screw through it two correct?

sounds like a good plan, My sub doesnt have that little foamy stuff onder it, it has it on top though.... should i mount it backwards? Also when i lay down the foam, whats predrilling? or srewing?

well you know the part of the woofer that is metal that protects the underside? Well it goes right up to the ring around the face of the sub so the understide is bare metal, now the front has stuff that looks like weather stripping though. Does this mean the subs are made to me mounted backwards like ive seen? the magnet is very nice looking......

Ok so my new box for my two 12's is almost here and im wondering how do you screw them into the box. Now i know this sounds silly but there is more. I have heard the just screwing down the speaker will cause air leaks around the basket or somthing like that. So i have read the people use weather stripping as a gasket or somthing like that. So i bought some, closed cell somthing like that. so what do i do whith it? Do i lay down the stripping then the sub then screw through all of it orr what.... please help and yes yes yes im a newbie =) come on here, please no bull crap answers, just trying to get some help....
