neo magnets are much much stronger, they also cost a hell of alot more, the advantages are better cooling , and stronger magnets , the cons are cost , design "cuz they dont make very large neos.. go take a look at magnet prices alone... ceramics like on most woofers can be cheap as hell , 10-40$ per magnet , but a neo on the other hand is like 60-250$ for a neo magnet, i have another type of magnet im going to be building a subwoofer with, i dont wanna give to much info away ... i dont want everyone else trying it and saying they came up with the idea. i have dated pics n shit but im not releasing any of it to the public at this time.

lol , im making a even bigger subwoofer to, i just have to build 1 more spider landing and ill be ready to start setting all the parts in place with glues n stuff ! its gonna be sick ! it has a 440 oz magnet !

lol i should of just tossed it in a box cuz it seems thats what everyone wants to see.. but i guess if i made all the videos in a box everyone would wanna see it free air lmao !

the only reason it bottomed out was because the surround stitching broke and it came apart to fast for me to shut it off before it blew , ima change the spiders a lil more so this dont happen again !

i had around 500RMS , i think it was a lil to much, maybe next time ill use less power !

i would of made a video of it in a box , but i blew the coil after awhile , it broke and bottomed out and messed up the bottom of the coil, but ill be fixxing it with a new coil soon ! feel free to comment

this is what i used ,dual surround,custom made 2 1/4'' titanium former voice coil, 3 custom spiders,custom made triple stacked 240 oz magnet , custom pole piece , custom top and bottom plates , all built by me , it uses a pioneer 10'' impp cone and can move close to 4'' 's ''peak to peak''

my favorite part is the dustcap , the other main reason i used this cone is cuz they are tuff as nails! alot of other cones i have around are not even close to the stiffness of the impp pioneer cone. the newer 4500mtx cones are the filmsiest peices of work ive seen. they fold like a napkin !!! BTW THANKS for the first comment !!!!!
