1. Why are you going sealed
2. Why only 400/800 watts
3. Why 12's or 15's?
4. What's your budget?
5. What is this going in?
1. trying new things out and need trunk space
2. not sure
3. cause 18"s and sealed don't go hand in hand ???
4. $400 for the woofers
5. 95 chevy caprice
The Rf P2s are $88 + shipping each from sonicelectronix
Just found a REX12D4 "2 pack" for 107.95 from audiosavings.

its not 1 ohms stable. why not buy like a audiopipe 1500d and just turn the gains down http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-AUDIOPIPE-1500W-MONO-Car-Audio-Amplifier-Amp-Sub-/390188564940?pt=Car_Amplifiers&hash=item5ad90d01cc#ht_3459wt_1139
and then theres a code you can put in the checkout to make it like 130 shipped but cant find it atm
FIND ME THAT CODE!!!!! That is exactly what I'm aiming for!!!
EDIT: NVM they only ship within the U.S. I Live in Canada.

What about this amp?
-
Should be able to find a alpine m500 for about 130-180
Alpine m500 can't be wired down to 1ohm, which is what he would need to do since he wants two D4ohm subs.
So then he buys a pair of RF P2s that D2.....
I'm going D4 because I already have one.

I thought they would be more then that.

Well where can I get a 500w rms amp for $150?
-
THe amp is bridgeable. You can bridge say channel "1" and "2" and then "3" and "4"
The MB Quart site says the amp will produce 2 x 320W RMS at 4Ω.
-
Ok, I'm going to be buying an MB Quart DSC480 (Click Here for more info on it) to run two Rockford Fosgate Punch P2D412 (Info Here).
So will this work???

How are the top post battery terminals for doing the big 3 and such?
Something like This
-
Thanks... to bad they need to be ordered in multiples of 25... Just means more builds to do.
EDIT: Just noticed they only ship within the U.S. I live in Canada. Damn!
-
I've been looking for plain 1/0 terminals. By plain I mean coper or gold "O" ring (I think that's what their called) for my big 3.

I want bass in my car so, I need a head unit besides the stock one, which is about to take a . So, that being said I need a double din. I really want a Pioneer AVH-P3200DVD but, will consider others like it.
-
Check out the Rockford Fosgate punch series. I know the P2 12" needs about 1.2 cubic feet sealed. This is what I have and it sounds good. Also, they run on about 250W RMS.

Ever since this economy hit these damn cops try to put out anything they could get out of you even the smallest things that didn't really matter. I feel sorry for that guy.

My dad just got a $590 ticket on here say.
-
I have learnt for experience to fight any ticket I get. Some times the police just give tickets because they can or they want to know who you are so they stop you. After that, they like look all important, so they give you a ticket.

Cool now I can start making progress. Thanks for all the help.

Ok, So I will run that battery (the one in the picture) up front with the 270 alt from Mechman and the big 3. Then when the extra power is needed I will go with a (AGM) in the back.
-
Ohhh... Ok, I was going to get an alt first (270 from Mechman), I was looking at what batteries (that are available to me) I should go with after wards. As for the big three just waiting on my wire to arrive.
I was told Deka batteries where another option. I am able to get my hands on them. Which one do you recommend?
-
So to sum it up, get a batt with over 1000 cranking amps and i would say maybe a reserve capacity of 100 with the amps you plan to use. Also get a AGM, they are far superior than wet cell batts from what i have both seen and used.
Would this do the trick? I know it's not AGM.

Ok so this week I'm gonna be starting some fiberglass on my box. My question is, would it be better to do it in normal room temperature shop or in an air blowed paint room (doing this at school in my construction class)? Or outside? I live in OC, cali so the temp is kind warmish I guess... this will be my first time fiberglassing so any hints would be helpful to!
Thank you
holy god if you have the choice, paint room without a doubt. outside you got temperature, shit blowin around in the air, the wind in general can get annoying from the glass blowin around...A controlled area and temp would be optimum IMO

As stated before, Kinetik or Deka.
What Deka battery(ies) would work best to run 2 aq 2200ds plus highs and mids?
-
traded for a kit that's not made for your car? that's going to be a lot of fab work. you have fun putting that on there
Actually there isn't that much to do. For the back all I have to do is cut about 3 inches off the stock bumper and add the new one. For the front all I have to do is add mounts and add the stock grill where the emblem is.

What vehicle is it going into? Also could you provide a picture of where you want it?
