What could you do for two shipped to Canada (north bay, ontario P1B 1J6)?
-
It's a stock front stage, out of a 2002 Mazda Protege. I am saving up, hens the reason I want to get the most out of this sub.
-
You don't have like $30 for another sheet of wood?!? How do you even have gas to drie your car?!?
I live paycheck to paycheck, even then sometimes I don't put gas in my vehicle. Plus on top of that I have bills to pay.
-
I just want it to be as good as it was before I buiilt this box.
-
Your right i guess he has to cut it
by the looks of it... he did not ever plan on opening the box up... lolIts seamless.
Well open up the box, i mean if he ever planed to swap subs or the sub he has blew then he would have to open up the box some how
How would you accomplish that if the sealed portion is on the opposite side of his port?Just wanted to give you an other opition. But if you dont want to cut the box find something to put in the sealed section so that in a way makes it smaller, for example blocks of word screwed or glued downYeah I wanted to make it air tight and I kinda mad it a little to quick. I could cut a pieces out of the back side and then fill it in.
how much "thump" are you expecting from a 100 watts? edit... BUt that box looks nice man, you said tbat its the same set up before. Maybe the sub doesnt like the box you put it in XD
As much as I had before. I think it doesn't...
This weekend coming up I will shrink the sealed side down to 1cu.ft. and see if that helps, if not, I will wait till summer and build a new box.
-
Why dont you put the sub in a t-line, im sure it will get loud and seems that you have plenty of room
Yeah but, budget is super tight. the reason I am ify about cutting the box, and the reason I still have this sub.
-
NopeAnyway of shinking the sealed side with out cuting the box?
Damn!

Any one?

My sub is not quite keeping up to my mids/highs. Or it is and I'm expecting more form it. It feels as if there should be more "thump", I hear more highs and mid then I feel or hear bass. I have a feeling it's the new box I put it in, but I don't want it to be because it is the best and nicest box I've built.
First off the sub is a Rockford Fosgate P212S4, it's rated for about 150 - 200rms. It's seeing about 100rms from a Alpine MRP-F240 (bridged).
The box it is in now is a 1:1 ratio 4th order. 2cu.ft. sealed / 2cu.ft. ported to around 48hrz.
The old box it was in was a sealed 3cu.ft. box, nothing special.
The system is in a '94 Mazda B3000 ext. cab. It also seems like with the new box I am missing some tones.
Any way I can fix my problem, with out having to change boxes?

New Box:
This system as to get me through at least the next year, until I can get a bigger one.

I've started using west systems epoxy resin and hardener. It is sooo easy to mix and use. Goes on with any flat "spatula" type tool. It's pretty much idiot proof.
-
Sounds exactly like my uncle and his '69 Charger.

To be honest I am looking for the cheapest camera that shoots hd video and good pictures, with changeable lenses.
-
I need help finding a new camera. I need it to have HD video and high quality pictures, preferably with lens attachments.
Here is a quick list of what I would be using it for...
- Car audio (duh)
- Paint Ball Action Shots
- Car Shows
Basic stuff like that. I really like taking pictures and videos, but I am no expert.
My budget is stretched to $500, lower would be best.
What is out there?
- Car audio (duh)

Pull the trigger!
I wasn't expecting to find an amp this quick! For the right price.
-
I just checked out the MB Quart and it fits in my price range...
-
MB quart 125.4 does 250 at 2 ohms per channel. You will have plenty of overhead. Or stick with 125 @ 4 ohms. I'm not to familiar with other 4 channels.
Hey as long as it does near 140 I'm happy
-
140 per channel? Whats your budget?
Yes, None at the moment doing research.
-
I'm about to do the mids and highs for my build, but before I do that I want to find an amp to power them. I am looking for something that will put out close to 140WRMS at 2Ohm.
What are my options?
-
I know it's not a fare fight but, it is just too funny.
-
I ended up making this box backwards. I didn't put the baffle or sides on untill the rest was done, because I ran out of wood. Check my build log in my sig (first link mazda b3000) to see what I mean.

Where are you located? How hard do you think it would be to ship to Canada?
I could use the spare gun... along with a tank and hopper.
