i have one in my shed but its a spare radio, i know i have another bracket laying around somewhere, if i find it and you cover the shipping its yours
Sure, shipping can't be that much. Plus it's better then haveing the head unit flying around.

I have the box built and playing! I will post pics in my build log along with a video, when I get off work.
-
u still need 1?
YES!
-
Bump for port placment!

I thought horns had a seald chamber for the subs?
-
alright i was just wondering..and if you were to stick with those dimensions i would go with wat socky said and tuned in the higher 40's...and i would have it loading off of the passenger side wall as that is where those trucks seems to get loudest
What do you mean by loading it off the passenger side wall?
I going to be finishing it tomorw.

You mean the cage what brand
That's what it's called! The h/u is a Dual xdm7615.

I am looking for the metal braket the raps around the head unite, that holds it to the dash kit.
I am on my phone and unable to post pictures. When I am able to I will post pictures of what I am looking for along with my h/u.

154! Damn I can't wait to get two for my truck! Why can't summer come fast enough!!!
-
yes should be fine with that.
Cool thanks! I will hopefully get started on it this weekend.

Ok I will do the 1:1 ratio. 2cubes is good though?
-
The dimentions I made the first box to where just a shot in the dark, first attempt. As long as the box fits within my max dimension, the smaller the better but it doesn't matter.
I might make a 1:1 ratio and a 1:2 ratio to compaire. So 2cubes sealed is good?
I may also do switchable ports to see what each tuning will give me.
-
are you rebuilding because it gets louder when you open the door or just to try a 4th order out? what vehicle?
The vehicle is a 1994 Mazda B3000 (Ford Ranger). I'm rebuilding because the box I have was not built for this vehicle and I think this sub would do good in a 4th order. Plus I want to experiment and learn.
-
Would this be to big? 2cubes sealed, 4cubes ported with a 6''x6''x10'' port. Giving it a tuning of 42 give or take.
-
Those external?
Yes.
1 cu ft sealed 2.3 ported
What size port?
-
I kinda forgot to put the measurements I have to play with . They are 19'' x 18.5'' x 50''
-
I need to make a new box for my truck and want to try a 4th order. Right now my sub is in a 3cu.ft. box and every time someone opens the door it gets louder.
The sub is a Rockford Fosgat P212S4. 12" single 4 ohm voice coil rated for 300rms.
I would like to start building it this weekend.

x = cost of ball
cost of bat = x + 1
total cost = 1.10 = x + (x + 1) = 2x + 1
2x = 0.10
x = 0.05
I uderstand this more then words... lol. Yet I am not to fond of math.

Ok. Thanks for the replys.

No. I wanted to make sure it was completely sealed up. When I do my new build I will use this sub and box in a home system.
