Nice! what LEDs did you use? I'm planning on doing something similar with my sub box.
LEDs for what? The doors? Dome? Plate? Box? Haha
Sorry I should have asked, what LEDs did you use where? I check out the site and I'm bot sure what the LEDs do what.

Looks much better, but you need to make sure the ports are at least the port diameter(4") from the bottom of the box. 4" would be better than 2.75"(you have to calculate thickness of wood when thinking about distance). 18.5-15=3.5" and 3.5"-.75"=2.75"
Actually the height is 19", 19-15 = 4-0.75 = 3.25. Well at least I have enough port this time. I will make the adjustments with the ports and then I should be good to build!

Do you have all the screws in place? I know it may sound like a stupid question but it's better to cover all the basses.

Ok here is a revised version of the design. In the sketches I left out the bracing, but there will be 45s in the corners and a rode between the subs connecting the baffle to the back of the box. Hopefully this one will be okay. I am hoping to start building the box this upcoming weekend.
The black circles in the box represent the magnet, to see if there was clearance for the ports. I wasn't sure of the magnet size so I guessed 8" diameter.

I need to change the exhaust on my truck and figured this would be the best time to upgrade. The truck is a 1994 Mazda B3000 3L V6 (1994 3L V6 Ranger). I would like two exhausts out the back. Any suggestions or places to look? I would be getting a shop to install it, unless it is bolt on. I would how ever like it to be one piece (welded and not bolted together).
Thanks

What vehicle is it?

stick around 5.5-6cuft for rms
id use about 60-70sqin of port
bracing does not take up much volume. i can well brace and 45 a box for 2 15s and its usually under .25cuft of bracing
Thank you! I was giving my self some slack.
-
Why do you have 1 for bracing displ?
Because the braces will take up about 1 cu. ft. of displacement.

cant give info without knowing subs/amps being used
I know. I just didn't want to jix it. but I'm building the box for two Skar VVX-15s. Not sure on the amp yet.

Still not enough port area in my opinion.
How much would you recommend then?
-
More port and Vb.
I figured I would need more port. As for Vb, I'm guessing you meant Bv (box volume). The box volume is to the manufactures specification. They recommend 2.5 - 3 cu.ft. per driver.
When you increase port, Vb (yes it's Vb) decreases..
I'm still new at this. But I know what you mean. Does the new calculations look better?

Every thing is starting to go good for me, so I'm going a to start my official build. I was looking at getting either two 12s or two 15s. After messing with Torre's Box Calculator I decided to go with the 15s. So here is what I cam up with... Let me know what you think.

Unfortunatly I am on my phone and can't view the web site. What are the box specs for the 12s and 15s? I'm in the market for new subs, I thinking of going with two 12s or one 15. What would shipping be with out the custom box?
Edite: Shipping would be to Ontario, Canada (P1B1J6 to be more specific).

I must say, the yellow calipers look damn sexy!

I think i will go with black. I'm also thinking of colour matching the dash to the exterior paint and painting the accent pieces black.

Buying a new vehicle.

Rockford Fosgate p212s4, iirc. It's a sing 4ohm voice coil rated for 300wrms.

dont buy a 5 channel save your money and get a 4 channel and a 2 channel thinkabout this if you get a 5 channel and you sub amp blows then you wont have any music at all
Not true. I could always run the speakers off the head unite. I'm just trying to get something quick, because the amp I am using now for my sub is a broken 4 channel, that does only 150wrms bridged.

Morning Bump.

I am looking for a 4 or 5 channel amp to power four (4ohm) 6.5" at 70wrms and one (4ohm) sub at 300wrms. I have $200. Needed shipped to canada.
