i have enough room for a 6cuft box in my car so what will hit harder 4 10" xl, 2 12" xl or 2 15" xl. the amps that will be used are sundown saz 3500d x2.

just wondering if anyone would the size of xs batt that will fit in my 2002 pt 2.4L ?

hey everyone im sure this question was ask before but i dont feel like going threw a old topics to find it.... i saw on the web site that the level 5 12" only needs a 1.5 cuft box .. is this right ? thats seems like a lot of watts in a small box ... could i build a bigger one and still have it sound good and/or hit hard ? plus what would be a good amp to push that sub ?

hey you know that does make cents. i do love a good 15 but im sure there are hard hitting 12s i may like. as for the electrical im upgrading it all. i found a 250 amp alt. on line, will do the big 3 in 1/0. and 2 batteries. im staying with 3 amps. 1 4 ch and 2 sub amps. this is my daily driver after all lol .. the big system will go in my s-10 project.

yeah.. so what 12's are good ? dc audio lvl 5 . re audio . there are so many and i want some that will really pound. i like the way my 15 sounds now i just wish i made a bigger box for it .

yeah i got very limited space. 15's are pushing it. the biggest box i can build is 6.5 cuft.. so what would you recommend on 15's or 12's that would get me hittin hard

lol i figured . so that set up hits real hard ? and you said you used 2 amps ? did each woofer gets is own or were they strapped and then wired to the sub?

what size box did you use ? was it ported ?

not a bad trade. the store i went to said they would do 2 12's for $700 and the 15's at 700 each. not cheep for sure.

well that sounds good to hear. so that 12.2 you have, how did it sound and what amp were you running to it ? i have the room to do 2 15's but it will be very tight was thinking of running the 12's

how is the orion hcca line of subs and amps? the other day went to a local audio shop and saw the 15" orion hcca .. wow what a woofer . just want to know if it is worth investing in .

i dont know yet . 2 15's for sure . either dc audio or re audio or i might just get another mtx 8500 15" to go with the one i already have. but they r over 500 dallors

how long has audioque been around for ? are they new ? i just herd of them a few weeks ago

sounds good to me . i found some on at a really good price. not to high and not to low. i know they have been around for a while so i figured they are somewhat good

are hifonics amp worth buying ? do they make a amp ?

i dont know what im doing just yet . im still in the planing stage. i do know i want to run 3 sets of 6.5 comps and 2 8" subs as my midbass. one set of 6.5 will be in kick panels. the other 2 sets in the doors with 8s. for bass 2 12" dc audio level 5 or xl. and a round 4 amps

i am thinking of going with 2 rockford 8" subs. they will be molded into the doors with 2 other sets of 6.5 comps.

what about a rear fill ? do i need one ? i was thinking before to put some 6.5 comps in the rear doors. was even thinking of add 2 8" as well . but i want to keep cost low.

dont want to send a lot was thinking of using 2 4ch amps. but idk if ohms would match up right . if i did i would use the rf 3sixy.2 for my processor. i want something more simple that would give me the best sound.

well thanks for the help. i think ill go the simplest way. just want the best sound i can get. dont want to go all out for this car. the next car i will lol

i would like to run my mids and highs active . what would it take to run 3 6.5 comps sets and 2 8" midbass active ? is active better ?

or what about the re audio xxx 12" are they any good ? i think i seen them for 549 each.

should 1 do one amp per woofer? or go with a diff. amp ?
