    well this is the start of my biggest project to date . im going some what out there. a few weeks ago i came across a you tube video. it was some insane tahoe. i click on the name and my life changed. lol yeah it was meade916. watching the videos of the rebulid inspared me to start mine.

    ok idk what the problem is but i had problems where they all wont play at all and now only 2 play and they sounds just like they should and the other 2 wont play at all ( they are all in chambers) i was just wondering what could be the problem

    you think it could be the ground? or what

    i dont think they are blown but idk someone told me i could tell if they were blown by pushing on them but idk what they will feel like if they are blown or not

    r the lights on ur amp on ? r they hooked up to more then one amp ?

    if u want to run the speakers by them selfs off the 4ch u will been a external eq sorce to take the place of the cross overs the speakers came with, something like a rockford 360.2 or so

    this lets u dial in to fine tune it a lil better

    u can run tweets on front channel, mids on rear channel

    4 tweets on front channels, 4 mids on rear channels

    hope this makes sence, i need to get a good 4ch so i can run active, my headunit will let me run active but my 4ch is broke so im stuck running passave off a 2ch amp @2ohm

    thank for the help and it does help alot . thats what i was thinking on how to wire them.im running the wires as we speak lol .what head unit do u have ? have u seen the new one from pioneer ? it has out puts for hi's mids lows and subs but its 1100 dalors. for me its a toss up i found an eclipse 7200 mk 2 and the guy will sale it for 350 . or the alpine 9887 for 300 new .

    first off, how many speakers are u wanting to run in all?

    u can run 8 4ohm speakers off that 4ch

    i think mids n highs amps like lower ohm loads more than higher cause i had my hifonics zxi4406 runnin at 2ohm on all channels, had my front comp set and rear coax wired to front channels, and my 2 8'' dual 4ohm midbass's in back wired off rear channels and when i switched it to 4ohm on all channels it took a shit

    so how many speakers are u wanting ot run?

    and are u trying to run active or passave with external xovers?

    ok all together 8 sets of comps. on 2 fosgate power t600 4ch amps . they will go mostly in the stock loction and kick panels .. 61/2 inch front 51/4 rear .. that was my next question if i needed the external xovers . is it better to run active ?
