  1. Well I'm going to tink the back windows to like 20%. Maybe I can find some rims to put on it? Or should I just paint it black as of now. I'll also probably remove the stripe when I have time. I don't want to raise or lift it at all because, 1) It's slow as hell. and 2) I just don't see this truck lifted at all. Haha I'm more of a sedan kind of guy. But yeah, I'll take this all in consideration . Thanks !

  2. Hey there guys. So, as of today, I am officially now a California Licensed Driver. :clapping: . But since I just got it, my parents wont give me my OFFICAL car yet because they want me to drive an older car of ours to make sure I won't get into any accidents. If I do get in one, which I doubt but somehow I do, I would be driving the old car so it won't be a big deal.

The car I'm going to be driving is a 1992 Toyota Extended Cab Truck. It's pretty old, but it can still get me to point A to point B. Anyways, I was wondering what are some non-expensive things I could do to it to make it look nicer. I can't get a brand new paint job for $2,000, but there has to be some things out there that can be improved without spending alot of money.

Here are some pictures of the truck. Any suggestions on how to make it look nicer.

These are the only photo's I have currently, but if you guys have any suggestions on how to make it look a little bit nicer. (Rims, etc)

    Thank you!!

EDIT: I'm putting 2 Sundown SA-12's D4 on an AQ1200D in the backseats of the truck in a sealed box I'm buying from AudioSavings. Yes, I will eventually build my own box, but as of now, I'm buying 1.

  3. go w the pioneer...we sell tons of those at the shop i work at and therre very nice. dont fuck around w clarion, jensen, dual...none of that shit..by the time it breaks and you buy another one you could have bought a nice pioneer

Yeah of course. I loved Pioneer from the start, but there products just seemed a little bit too expensive for a teenager like me. But if I have to go with a touch screen choice, I'll go with that one. In the meantime, I'll probably get the sony HU I posted before. :/

  4. I was wondering what would be the best touch screen head unit out there. Any would do great. I was looking under 300$, but I doubt there's alot out there for under 300. Maybe the Pioneer AVH-P3200DVD? What about some Jensen HU's. Clarion?

If you have any suggestions on any good touchscreens for the price under 300$, that would be great. Thanks :)

*I was going to get the Sony gt550ui, but since I'm buying the AQ1200D instead of the AQ2200D, I have some extra money to spend.

  5. Programs are programs, the acoustics set up in the recording area will be infinitely more important in creating a great end product. Sometimes its easier to produce your own tracks and then record in a professional studio. I have my own of both and use Pro Tools to create my tracks.

Well of course. I don't want to put the mic in a closet because then it sounds like we're recording in a box, which in the end, we pretty much are. We'll probably try and get a reflection filter but if we can't, then maybe just get some foam and put it all around the room, etc etc. I can't get pro tools due to money, but I do have Reaper. I just don't have an audio interface to use to try it out.

  6. Hey there guys. So I was wondering if anybody here knows anything about creating music for mixtapes or CD's. My friend is 15 and he's trying to take the path of being a rapper. Must I see, he's not bad but there's of course improvement. I was wondering if anybody can give me on suggestions on the best laptops to use, mics, audio interfaces, etc. This is going to be a budget studio build, so don't expect to respond with thousands of dollars of equipment. Anyways, I know a little bit of info about music making, and here's what we're probably going to get.

    Laptop: Dell XPS 15

    Mic: MXL V67g

    Audio Interface: TASCAM US-144mkII

Programs: Reaper / Audacity / Fruity Loops XXL Studio

Headphones: N/A (Know any cheap but good headphones, please let me know :)

This is pretty much what we were looking at. I was wondering if this could put out a decent good sounding mixtape where I could slap in my car and it would sound like a regular song. If anybody has any other suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

  7. I understand that building a box is way better then buying a sealed / ported one, but that's what I'm looking at doing. Putting them in a ported / sealed box, would it affect the subs after a month of being used? I got friends who have sealed / ported box's of 2 12s Kickers, and I don't mind it. Maybe to you guys it sounds like total crap, but to my ear, it's not bad and I can live with it. So can someone please just answer my question and help me find a good box for these subs. If not, I'm just going to go to my local audio store and buy one. It's my decision and if it sounds terrible, I have nobody else to blame but myself, and I'm taking that risk. Thank you.

  8. You can build a box in one day, let it sit in your vehicle over night with the windows down to allow the fumes to air out.

:/, Can anyone just answer the question? Is there any box I can use that's already built on the non-expensive side. That's all I want to know. I appreciate the comments encouraging me to build the box, but I just can't do it at this moment. So if anyone knows any boxes, please let me know. Thank you.

  9. Lowes ace, and home depot cut wood for you. Get measurements, screws and glue. Then assemble at home in the living room. Thats what i do.

Cant. Mom heads shit like that in the house. :/ Or else I would have already

then do it outside? if you buy a prefab vs building a box to ur subs specs your gona regret it or buy a box and be bliss in your ignorence

Like there really is no way for me to build a box right now. I can't just buy that box and only use it for a month? I know I'm going to build a box, but I just can't right now

  10. Hey there. So as some of you know, I've been struggling to get my system done for a while now so I was just going to get a temp box for the subs. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy an already built box online for not to expensive. As long as it sounds DECENTLY good, then I'll be fine. I was going to build a box myself tuned to 33 hz, but currently we have no where to put the wood. Even in the garage and house, and I'm 16 so I can't really do much about it.

The system are 2 Sundown SA-12's D4 with an AQ1200D. The HU is an aftermarket HU but I'm not sure what kind it is. I know it's a pioneer though and it doesn't have any USB / AUX ports. So if anyone knows a good pre-built box for these subs / amp, a link would be great. I'm going to build my own box of course once we make room, but I just want to bump, so this box will only be used for like a month. I know it seems like a short time, but I just want to bump. :) Thank you.

  11. I mean I believe you when you say about not a lot of fat. It just seems like to me that it is just needing to work out more, but maybe let a few more people chime in on it too.

Yeah. I mean, Idk. I'll see if ab workouts will affect it in 2-4 weeks. I know I can't get super amazing abs in that period of time unless I'm a super trainer, but I don't want super amazing abs. I just want a simple 6 pack, that's all. I think the main cause that's holding me back is my eating habits. :/

  12. I looked for one more, here is another I truly didnt watch the whole thing but I am thinking about maybe trying this one out. It is kind of hard to see, but looks like it is pretty good from what I saw.

did you not watch my video? you dont get abs from six minute abs lol. Silly kids.

I understand that. I know that it is mostly your diet and posture, but he is at low enough body fat that he does not really have too much dieting to do to cut down bodyfat. Hell I am at about 12-13% and I have a 6 pack with just a little fat over the bottoms. He needs to actually hit the abs and get them up to strength. Truly if he put up a picture of him now it would be easier to tell if he actually needs dieting to get down or to just work on them more.

if a picture will really help, I can post 1. I mean, my abs aren't super noticeable in a picture, but you can tell that I don't have a lot of fat. Do you want 1?

I actually did watch your video, so I don't know what you're talking about. Haha, and I'm saying that with no sort of disrespect, just saying. :drinks:

  14. Oh I totally understand what you mean. He is annoying especially after doing it for a while.

Since I wasnt really helpful in my last post here is a link

    My link

at the bottom he has some premade workouts if you want to check them out.

Really annoying. At one point, I could predict every thing he was going to say and I got so annoyed, I couldn't concentrate on working out. Haha, but yeah, I'll def check it out. Thanks for the suggestion.

  15. Im lucky I was gifted with a six pack, didnt need to work for it. My coach explained to me how good posture affects your abs, since your using your core to support your body it works out the muscles constantly. Not a fitness guru so I may (and probably will) be wrong lol.

Yeah I know what you mean. Well, I was just going to do that 6 minute workout everyday, and see how it goes in like 3-4 weeks. I'm also going to stop drinking soda, eating mid-night snacks, and all of that. :)

  16. You can do 10,000 crunches a day and you still can not have a six pack. Theres this thing called fat. The easiest way to get a six pack is... eat healthy as shit and have your bf% go down. You probably already have a six pack under your belly skin.

edit... i have six pack its just under lots of top ramen and hot pockets :0

Yeah I know what you mean. I think I can get a 6 pack.. But I also need to eat healthy which is really hard since I'm a teenager. But, yeah I know what you mean.

  17. If you are around 8-11% bf you should have visible abs even if they are not super strong. I do not know everything about working out, but I like a lot of the workouts used in p90x. You should be able to look them up, and do them.

I do have noticeable abs, but I feel like they could be ... MORE noticeable. I can say I have a 2-4 pack, but it's not super standing out, but you can notice KIND of. I want it to be super noticeable. I don't want it to look like I'm on steroids or any of that, just good. Haha. p90X is great, but I'm not going to lie, I did a few of the ab workouts, and I got so tired of the guys voice, it wasn't even funny. Haha so I quit doing that.

  18. As you guys can tell by the title, I was wondering what are some good workout routines to get overall stronger and maybe even a 6 pack. I'm currently 16, and I'm pretty athletic due to playing competitive basketball since the age of 9. But currently, I haven't played basketball for a while, and I feel like I want to get stronger, and even a 6 pack.

For the 6 pack, I was going to follow this video every day. When I was a freshmen, according to my P.E. teacher, I had 7% body fat, 120 lbs, and 5'7. Right now, I'll say I have around 8-11% body fat, 125-130, and 5'8. Haven't grown for shit. :/ Anyways, Here's the video:

So if anyone has any tips on how to get stronger / 6 pack, I would like to know. Thanks!
