take double baffle out of the equation. not happening

AQ 1200.1 D is the ONLY Amp i have ever owned also i went from 1.5 cu.ft on a single 10" sd 2.5 sub at 35hz to 2.00cu.ft at 35hz and it was way better. completely only thing in the set up that changed was the box not the port placement sub placement or type of port only thing that change was cu.ft and Ken at AQ , AMICustoms , Dan and few other people recommended 35-38hz an .5 cu.ft more for each sub then a normal 12" cause of the fact that they like more air and they like being tuned in that area. ye si have tested it yes they o like more air.

how far from the back wall does my port need to be?

no 1 AudioQue SD 2.5 woofer has .09 displacement. and 4.cu.ft is to small last time i am going to say AQ Subs like alot of air and perform better on a lot of air.

its .18 with 2 sorry its a .09 cu.ft difference. its going to be double baffle maybe a tie rod in middle but its not so much power that it need anything special like resin or support.

no way going less air space port will just have to be worked with AudioQue like a lot of air and ken at audioque recommended 5.00cu.ft and everybody told me that i should give them more so. help me work with the port needs more or less port?

2-AudioQue SD 2.5 12" Subs on 1200.1D 600watts rms 1200 peak at 1 ohm in 5 cu.ft ported at 36hz roughly port all the way on the left side port and subs fired to the rear subs sharing air.

there is no problem at all we havent tested voltage drop or what this amp will do to it.

audioanonymous and i have a deal worked out for 1/0 to 4ga reducers already in process thanks everyone for the opinions obviously 1/0 won but just to let you know them stinger reducers do not fit in AQ1200.1 D Amps. just saying i bought one already.

well i was thinking dual input 4ga wire so 2 runs of 4ga to dual inputs on a aq1200.1D cause with KNU you gotta shave 1/0 so flipping much to fit it in the aq1200.1d

i favor your opinion but i have 1/0 knu oxygen free to my AQ 1200.1 D stock alt big 3 and i still see a heavy voltage drop at full tilt. another battery on a 60 amp alt your killing the alt slowly .getting more power to back is just healthy for the amp and instead of 4ga i want 2 runs of 1/0.

do you know his price ranges by any chance?

daily driver not looking for number looking for louder bass without doing much upgrading amp sub wise. ( electrical is already in mind but expensive im working on it )

The port calculations were all done on AutoCAD which made things very easy and the box itself was just like any other box! thank you this was very well explained and i understand what your saying now. but now in your opinion my set up is still small but i have a outdated sony xplod and if i did upgrade would you say upgrade to a 4v pioneer kenwood jvc or alpine? BTW i seen your video nice flex on little wattage and your port looks fucking awesome how did you still calculate it with all that?

so why does everyone go 4v headunits of its not that big of difference i am not saying your wrong i am just trying to learn.

4V Pre amp headunits how much of the upgrade is really worth it form 2v to 4v ? will i see a big difference in bass? From a 2v xplod headunit really cruddy( not cause of brands cause of age ) to a 4v pioneer alpine kenwood or jvc ? i do realize that there is a headunit section in forum but when i post there i get no answers sorry

looking for some dual inputs that fit in the aq1200.1d any recommendations. (remember its 4ga input but i wanna be able to run 2runs of 1/0 wires to it ) or would it be better to run 2 runs of 4ga instead of 1 run of 1/0? big 3 will be done as well. trying to have less voltage drop as possible. without spending $500 on a new alternator. ( extra battery has been in mind not trying to kill current alternator either. this will be for a daily driver. on 2 aq sd 2.5 12" subs on 600 rms each 1200 peak wired at 1 ohm.
