  1. if you are still having bad electrical drop there should be multiple grounds under the hood like on from body to engine block on from frame to body one from body to battery upgrade them and make sure there nice and tight . is wire on your alt also bigger with the new highoutput alt? if not it may be to small to pass the high output currents. thats a problem. i would upgrade all grounds imo.

also mechman makes custom alts sometimes as well as dc power

but if your giving out power to try and produce 4800watts your need to return it which is why i say upgrade all your grounds so big 3 engine block to body battery to body frame to engine frame to battery. everywhere you find a ground that returns to battery some how under the hood that deals with your alt and circulating power around your car then make it bigger it can never hurt.

  2. crucial in car audio is ground make sure your grounds are good and tight

also take your time on wiring your headunit dont get wires mixed up

be careful and gentle with door panels ( stupid plastic breaks easy on most doors ) take your time dont lose anything( also dont forget to connect door lever common mistake )

rca's on one side power/ground/remote wire on the other side

disconnect your battery ( just do it completely to be safe )

make sure you crimp your headunit wires real good those wire pull out later your going be frustrated. also your ring terminals for your ground and power should be crimped good.

mount your amp and sub box down you dont want them sliding around unhooking and shorting out.

when you run your power wire make sure it through a rubber gourmet them wires eventually overtime can rub the rubber off and short out on body and if there is enough current/power going on it will start a fire.

take your time double check everything if your making your own box measure 3 times cut 1. Just take your time if you need help the whole forum is here for you at anytime.

  3. i didnt ask if i should get beefier subs or more subs or anything like that i got 45 w like 35 h and 8 depth i cant fit bigger subs i also dont have room for bigger subs behind my seat for simple fact that i would have no leg room. 4 -10" subs in 5-6 subs isnt bad and a wall of it is just because there is no other way to place it and i could go beefier subs and more power .

and also 4 10" subs is like 2 15" subs walled cone area wise. i dont have room for bigger.

beefier = more depth . more depth = less leg room . less leg room = no driving . no driving = a complete waste of time of a wall.

and im only consider it a wall cause then i could mount the subs up high and port between the seats cause if they were down low they couldnt excursion cause of the seat which is also another reason why i cannot have bigger subs.

last time i didnt ask for you all to design a completely different system i asked for air space box tips and port tips thats it.

10" subs above the seat they will not hit your head regardless of what you think they will NOT hit your head .

next a blowthrough is dumb for my situation i lay floors i need my truck bed to move my carpet , vinyl and tiles and also is way more expensive on my budget

  4. i wont cut thru the truck to expensive for my pricing and ruins the value of the pick up

you can check my build log for what the truck looks like

and 4 10 walled in my truck is just like 4 10 in a trunk sept less space i cant get beefier subs above i said i only have 8 inches sd 2.5 fit that well and bigger cone area

means less subs and they will hit the back of the seat ill make a design and show youi drive a single cab pick up toyota 1991 22 re with bucket seats 1 10" is loud in my truck i have one sd 2.5 as it is. im not looking to pump tons of power and get tons of spl. and the depth that the wall would be is the same depth as the box i have now is.

and im terrible with sketch up but see bigger subs would mean less subs and they would hit the back of the seats. picture this sketch up but tighter.

red is the 2 seats port in between i cant fit bigger subs above that depth wise or cone wise. out of question also there is not enough air space for bigger subs as well. so stop trying to change the way it would be set up it would just be a big 10" sub box in a wall form. i just want help with air space and port.
