I think just a 1000w so if you did 4 lvl4 12s i think that would be killer. more cone area equals more dbs

First off let me thank everyone at DC for excellant service. especially Rusty for being upfront and honest to me. most companys will claim there product will be the loudest or the best to get a sale, and are nowhere near what they claim.Install is 80% or more on what the product will do.Rusty never said i guarantee you will do a 150. he said trial and error build it till you get it right. and i appreciate that.I had major problems at first with trying to run lvl 5s and Rusty stuck with me till we found the solution. two d2s wired in parrallel would be .5. tmo d2s wired in series would be 2ohms. what the man was trying to say is actual impedeance of woofer will read different. with meter. what amp do you plan on using?

I would go with alternator you got to have power to make power. once you draw the 100+ amps your stock alternator is putting out you will drop to resting voltage of battery which is usually 12.6 or less. ive talked to dom alot about this and hes stating that hes trying to get away from multiple batterys and do multiple alternators instead. and ive done that and it works great. so in my opinion i say go with alternator first. and a good battery up front you should be golden

The directions are brief but i checked and for 12v it says 5 only on. i mounted mine in my overhead console also. is there any way that by extending the wires ( i had my partner do it for me and he did a nice solder job and sleeve install) it mite of messed something up? plus i have it hooked up to my acc wire at my main harness does it have to be true ignition or am i ok? I value your advice hhr ed let me know

HAS any one ever extended the xs harness to give you different mounting options such as in the headliner

Rusty if u see this i have a quick question for ya. my oldest xl (two are new 1 with fresh recone and the one im talking about is 2-3 months old) doesnt seem to be moving as much as my other 3. im thinking i have a vc going out (could of been damaged when i blew the other?) any how can u send me a recone for the xl 18 d1.4 and i will call u tuesday to find out what i owe you. thanks for great product. i think i broke the brace in the box again. lol shit rails hard. going to put it on the tl at bills on wednesday. im hoping to do at least a 150 hopefully more. so i can take it to visalia on the 25th. so having a recone on hand would be a safe bet.for all you people that arent on DCs nuts yet. let me scoot over so you can jump on. FOR your amount of power i would go on the big side for your enclosure ive built two different boxes for the level 5s and rusty recomended 6.5 tuned to 35hz. they both slammed

Yes sir i held down both buttons like the instructions said i get it to blink but when i hit the + or - it doesnt do anything

Just hooked up my vcm to 3 irragis alternators with 3 xs harnesses. i followed all instructions.when i powered it up it was showing 15.1 and when i tried to adjust it it wouldnt change up or down. does anyone know why i cant change the settings.is there any way to reset it.

AQ is dds sister company and if there amps are anything like dds you should be fine my m4s are rated at 3500w at 11.9 v but ive never let my voltage get that low i run in the high 13s and when i hook up my vcm i just got should be in the high 14s. i tried getting ahold of dom for you but he never got back to me.did you say you tried mechman? ive heard good things about him. anyways good luck just saw in your post you tried mechman

GO with a mechman. stock alternators put out nothing at idle. you could try a smaller pulley to get the rpms up, but i doubt it would help much.

I usually text dom and he texts me back when he doesnt answer the shop phone use his other number posted on site or pm me and i will give it to ya. as far as batterys go with xs way stronger than kinectic in my opinion.as far as amps i mite be gettind rid of my m4s they are perfect for the xls . or sundown,ab,aq,etc

nathan i know he had some issues with his vcm. i have one on the way for the same yr hoe but with 3 alts. i dont want to run into any problems of course your harnesses are coming for all 3,is it just simple plug an play

What kind of power u going to use? and hows your electrical? I had my xls in 13 cubes with 16 sqin a cube tuned to 32hz running off of 7000w. sounded great i would go with bigger port since you have the space and tune to low 30s. should be devastating with alot of power
