you can do it with stock alt but this is you really want biggest wire you can ideal 1/0, i myself only have 2 gauge with stock alt cuz thats biggest wire i could get at the time. but really anything bigger then the stock wire will help. bigger wire just gives better flow, kinda like your graden hose smaller hose more pressure you need to get the water thru bigger hose easier it is to get the same amount of water thru. hope that kind gives you an idea of what it does yea it made sence, but im kinda using wat i have because i love car audio but i have very little money to work with.

im pretty sure its a stock 90a alternator edit: make that 105a alt edit2: and idk the brand im at school ill check when i get home.

ok so my friend scrapped his old car and he had about 15 foot of 5g wire would i be able to run the big 3 on a stock alternator? or do u have to have 1/0 and a aftermarket alt.

i liked my alero when it was new... but being a stupid kid and getting my car for free wasnt the best thing for me cuz i beat the living piss out of it... the first winter i had it i pulled the ebrake on ice and i guess it was alot more slippery then i thought and i went up a 8foot tall snow drift backwards and had to drive off it.... lots of fun in this car but lots of stupid shit has been done to it... i like to ramp my car and ebrake it ALOT so i have no shocks, im always replacing tires, and i usually dont have gas another option i was thinking of was... making the alero into my competition car because my friend who has a chrystler 300m has 2 12" type rs in the same box i have running off of a alpine mrp-m1000 and i have a 12" kicker crv and a p.o.s. 12" sony xplod running off a 900w kenwood amp and my subs blew his out of the water which rilly got me thinking that subs r rilly loud in my car because its so much smaller. and then ide get me a new daily driver with a decent system.

i meant like, rims, paint, tint, and take my stock spoiler off. cuz aleros = worst car to find aftermarket parts for. but if i were to buy a new car wat kinda car do u suggest. ium 6'2" and i was looking at either a 2001 acura Tl or a 01 tahoe or expedition.

So i have to make a rilly hard choice right now... i have a 2001 alero gls coupe 3.4L V6 that has a little bit of rust, a few dents here and there and needs a few things fixed on it. i am getting a few grand like 4-7000 and i was wondering if i should just go all out on the alero with performance, looks, and audio/video or sell the alero get a new car and get a few of the necesities like rims, subs, speakers, cd player and so on just to make the car look and sound a little better

so yesterday at school my friend with add gave me an adderall because i asked him if i could have one to see if it would help me stay focused and do better in school. and i dont think i have ever worked that hard in school EVER. so i was wondering does that mean i have add? cuz i went through the symptoms of add/adhd and i have 9/14 of them EDIT: i stayed on track and didnt get distracted even once. my typical day at school is probably 50% staring off into space 25% doodling about subs and the system i want 20% getting off task 5% working on my work yesterday was 100% work not even joking i didnt drift off track once...

ah damn... so ur saying ide maybe need to make a custom battery clamp in the front? like out of a few peices of sheet metal? cuz i can do that in shop class edit: ill figure it out when i get there ill just make sure to buy one that fits in there

yea i kinda figured... i get light dimmage from rolling down my windows... thats tellin u something haha. anyways is there a way i can find out if a kinetic battery will fit in my battery slot? like a sheet saying wat car itll fit in and yes i know i can measure it but its like 15 degrees out so i dont wanna go out there haha

so how do u know if a battery will be good enough for your system? im planning on using a wal-mart battery upfront and putting a kinetic one in the trunk so ide be running 0g from front to back then 4g from the trunk battery to the amp

and yea u guys were right im prolly gonna upgrade eventually to either, 2 dc 12" lvl 5s, 2 12" fis, or 2 12" mayhems idk wat though but thats a long ways away prolly like a year or so. i just want something that pounds anything out of the water around where i live

ok so ive rilly never undertood what "2 runs" means does that mean like run 2 seperate wires from the front to the trunk?

so im getting a Alpine Mrp-M1000 to power my 2 12" SWR-1223D (2010 model type rs) and im gonna have 4g wire and prolly gonna do a big 3. all i need to know is what kind of battery i should get, the amp puts out 1000w rms X 1 at 2 ohms

ok so i haev a 12" orion cobalt single 4ohm sub and a kicker cvr dual 4 ohm sub. is there any way i can wire the kicker at 2 ohms and the orion at 4? because i have a kenwood amp thatll put out 500 watts(max on orion) at 4 ohms and 900 watts(max on kicker) at 2 ohms

i have ideas in my head for what my system setup would be in my alero, it has a small trunk too. i was going to make a box and push it all the way towards the back of my trunk then just seal around it. then cut out parts of my rear deck and fiber glass something like a hole in it and some speaker mounts then that way i dont have to have my seats folded down and itll still b decently loud. theres an idea for u, just to tell u lol
