  1. thank you bro - i agree. Not hating on the guys who hop because i love that shit too! I just outgrew it on my personal daily driven rides a little bit. I want a quality, PRE ENGINEERED system that rides nice and i think thats what im gettin here :) If i like it enough and i think i will, me and Antheny will convert the old "cans" from the civic to a better riding Shockwave....i probably will anyway.

well shit if you need a hand, i only live around the corner practically. hit a brotha up. seems pretty simple and self explanitory.

  2. thats what im talkin about, i will get some OK travel on it but its not meant to be "hittin switches" - its gonna be a really clean and functional product. It should ride REAL nice with this shit. It will definitly help with the weight. Plus i will easily be able to bury the tires into the fenders with the 25 series tires on it (when parking). I want to get the sway bars too eventually. I got till June when child support is over before i can buy something new so why not just do cool shit to what i got in the meantime :D

this is REAL AIR RIDE. fuck hopping around and breaking all kinds of shit. that stuff is no fun and requires too much maintenence. im speaking from experience. theres nothing worse than calling your buddy in the middle of the night, cause you blew a line or something and you cant get your ride up to get home.

  3. Plexi is very flexible so for good rigidity .75" is the thinnest I would suggest and use bracing.

If possible you can also layer a few sheets together for better strength.

BTW, just because its plex doesnt mean it will sound like shyt. As long as its rigid and designed properly then it can sound really good.

    x2.

also plexi is alot smoother than wood so it allows for more air flow inside ported boxes.

  4. lose the 6x9"s, do NOT put them in the same box with the subs. ive seen some one do this box and i think it was still .75" maybe .5" but it was only for 1 woofer. i would do 1" all around for the 4 12"s maybe even thicker, all depends on the power your running. its going to be VERY expencive.

i think he's talking about making a seperate box on top of the sub box which WOULD work. but 4 12's i doubt fitting in the first place. maybe 4 10's but not 4 12's.
