  1. so at the end of the summer im tradin in the 94 celica for a 90's chevy preferably pickup (although i did find a sexy 93 f150 on te craigslist) it mroe than likely wont be extended cab, due to lack of money. so my question is does anyone know of any "decent" shallow mount? i know pioneers are ok and arent to bad on price but kicker and jl are ofcourse <_< .

    .

and and btw heres the craigslist link on dis f150 on double dueces

  2. alright so i have a 1993 celica st 1.8L, and heres a few mods im doing to it right now, their simple because i dont have the money to switch out the head right now so heres whats happening, 10.2mm ngk spark plugs, changing water pump and timing belt out sunday, header, and my real question is cold air intake or short ram air intake and i know most of you are going to say cold air but im short on money so should i just buy the short ram or put the cold air in. i know the difference between them but im just wondering what you guys would say.

last question is what other mods would you reccomend?

  3. You don't need an 18 to get people to "feel" it...there are 10" setups here doing 50s. Which amp are you going to be using?

its either an american bass or u.s. amps 600x2

and i know 10's can do that but i dont think i can afford tens that can do that lol

edit: i dont have to use this amp but it would save money and my electrical isnt great so im trying to keep it a little simple

  4. Go to Audioque's website. You could also try DC...PM corona_jeff for DC pricing amd purchasing. They aren't as expensive as you may think. Especially the lower-rated ones. Does it have to be an 18"?

it doesnt have to be an 18 but i want people to feel it, but i dont know really what to run with if theirs anything you can think of that is decently priced (preferably less than 150) than im willing to try it

  5. there's audiosavings, sonicelectronix, onlinecarstereo, woofersetc. i want to know wich websites i can trust. i know that audiosavings is pretty trustworthy but i was just listing it as an example. i basicly trust the audio websites that are advertised on the smd website but what others can i trust

you can trust all of the above, but i prefer to deal with sonic or audiosavings, you can also try partsexpress.com. all are very nice companies.

ok thanks, iv never looked on parts express i might have to check it out

  6. not to thread jack but i have the same question current plan is 2 12" alpines with probable a slot port ] (doesnt sound like much but its budget) and i have a 1994 celica hatch up or back? for port and subs in that case

in that hatchback i would do subs and port up. with the subs closer to the front. but thats just my .02

so like right behind the seat and bolt it down or something?

  7. when in doubt choose the 8" with the biggest girth

    Lol? Doesn't meant anything.

I have the lvl 2 8s and there awesome! Sound great and can take a beating for sure!

it says you has 4 though. i could probably only get 2. what do you think they be capable of? mass destruction of te erf?

  8. sa-e8v2 the what seems like to me "old version" of the sundown audio 8" subs

sa-8 the "new version" wich i have seen videos of and like

or the sdc2.0-8-d4 the audioque 8" sub

im wondering wich one would be best. the cheaper the sub is the more ill buy probably like 3 for the cheapest and 2 for the most expensive. i know theres three so i want some opinions on wich one of these is the "best" out of them being that the audioque is the cheapest then the sa-e8v2 and the most expensive being the sa-8

i just want some ideas or anyone who has had experiance with them tell me what you think

  9. well im not stuck on the jackhammers but a couple things, im basicly going to get the system i have enough money for. and i dont have anyone willing to use a credit card (even though i would give them the money before hand) they wouldnt be willing to use their credit card and being im only 15 turing 16 i dont have a debit card yet to use so the reason i was thinking about the jackhammers is because they take money orders. but i understand what your saying

an all you have to do is get a pre paid card from walmart and problem solved

i think i know what your talkin bout but to be sure its not the visa one right? its the prepaid card with no late fees n shit

  10. Yea the set up i just said would be like 450...

But im 17 and have a debit card??

i dont have a bank account in my name yet so i dont have a debit card lol i know i can get one but i need to get my parents to take meh to te bank <_<

edit: and i cant find the aq-1500 i found te 1200

  11. well im not stuck on the jackhammers but a couple things, im basicly going to get the system i have enough money for. and i dont have anyone willing to use a credit card (even though i would give them the money before hand) they wouldnt be willing to use their credit card and being im only 15 turing 16 i dont have a debit card yet to use so the reason i was thinking about the jackhammers is because they take money orders. but i understand what your saying

  12. Buy two 12s and a 1500 watt amp and be done, youll prolly end up louder also. Like dc lvl3s or fi q.. Something along those lines and a AQ1500

i thought the more cone area the better? and i dont wanna be like everyone else i go to school with i dont want 2 12's lol i want to be different
