Let it go until it starts floating. May take a while
Will do, just started getting concerned when it's staying at like 13.37v and still going. But I'm sure the charger knows more about what's going on with it than I do haha

I took out my 6 D3100's because they had a low resting voltage from not driving my car much. The HF1215 manual says if it charges for over 10 hours to replace the battery, but when charging a bank, I'm not sure how long to let them charge, they were resting at 12.3 when I took them out. Any thoughts on this? Thanks

Those are pretty sweet. Would those have to be ordered with a new amp or could they be ordered separately and installed on an amp we already own?

Bought an XS power Charger from him. Very quick shipping and kept me up to date on when he was shipping. Very good guy to deal with. Would definitely do business again.
Thanks man

This might be a dumb question, but the 10 show requirement, do they have to be sanctioned shows for points?
Here in savannah, there are many local car shows, but there are no sanctioned shows unless I travel 4 or 5 hours + to FL (that I know of anyway)
Thanks for any info!
I'm very interested in becoming a member of Team DC Audio

With it being made for sound deadening, I don't think it would be best as bed liner.
Rhino liner or raptor liner would be what you're looking for

Really? On most scales explaining dB at 160 it says something like death of hearing tissue, Is that what this means?Wow nice. Are there any more pictures of this vehicle and what is inside? That's seriously insane man, I'm pretty sure at 160db you instantaneously go deaf.
No.
Great score though, props. Would not like to know how much work went into that...
It's a different kind of db, our 160 measures sound pressure.
That kind if db is like jet engines, explosions, gun fire, etc
That's what I think anyway, I'm sure someone can explain it better

Its weird you said the amp wasn't hot when you checked it because those amps are notorious for getting hot. I had one I bought brand new and even in a spot where air flow wasn't a problem and not playing it full tilt it would still get hot.
it was on for about 5 minutes at the time with minimal volume. but i do agree with you, it did get very hot at times

To anyone in between companies for amps or anything else. ill help you out. not only do you pay for a great Sundown Audio product, you also get great customer service
keep it up guys.

is there a trusted source that you go to when fixing amps?
db-r
and ive heard of amp medics?
i know db-r does good work but i havent heard alot about amp medics

My guess (and this is common) is that he was jamming on the system and the sub driver amplifier(s) were sucking up all of the battery energy and starving the mids and highs amplifier and it got too hot ...
Negative, subs werent even up half way on my pac 1. and what was weird to me was when i went back to check the amp, it didnt have a lot of heat at all.
Its the mosfets and gate resistors blown on the power supply side of things..
Odd that this happened, I know people running this at 1ohm a channel on both 12 and 16volt electrical setups with out issues.
these amps are beasts.
Any more close up pictures of the end of the board in the between the big black 4 capacitors and the bunch of little small brown capacitors
i have no idea why it went up either, i can put some more pictures up of where you described
Let me guess...
You set the gains with a DD1...lol
haha nooo
mosfets. easy fix but i would test your system to make sure your wires or xovers didnt cause this.
thats good to hear, im running active so crossover wouldnt be a problem
thanks for the help everyone

Thanks for the help everyone. Pictures will be up shortly

Should be. I bought it 7 months ago and it's been hooked up for about a month and played it on 2 weekends.
-
As title says, I have no idea why. My driver door 6.5's weren't playing but my tweets were, was having some ground noise. Never went into protect or anything. Was driving down the road, mids and highs cut off. Smelt the spl smoke. Pulled over and smokin like a mother fucker.
And the amp was still on even though it was done. So I unhooked the remote wire for it to cut off.
Could this be under warranty or am I fucked?
Can I send it somewhere to get fixed?
Fuckkkk

it was fixed by turning the gain way down, but now ive lost a lot of clean output from the amp, what could be causing this issue? maybe the HU?
but wouldnt i be getting more ground noise then just from my 4 ch?
thanks
